First post. Just saw the Coles deal but realised this is better. Coles will be AU10 next week. This is AU9.

There are lots of places in major regional areas where Optus coverage actually ends up being better.
Price match@ officeworks =$8.55
Am I reading this right that it comes with 35Gb of data?
Do you get the 35gb of data when you first activate the sim? In the information it says you get it for the 3 succesive recharges, but it's not clear if you get thst upon activation, unless I missed something?
They are making it difficult to sim swap now they wont do it on chat or on the phone you have to go into an optus shop. Did that and the guy said we cant do it here because you bought it at woolworths. So i got onto some Filipino chick on optus support and she chatted to him and it wouldn't activate so he gave me a $2 sim and swapped my number to it and the girl on optus chat applied the $50 credit that was on the prepaid sim.
I was just about to get it until I saw your post. Just to clarify, are you talking about porting or sim replacements?
Im talking about buying a cheap sim pack and sim swapping my current number onto the new sim with credit on it.Been doing it for years but getting harder now.
Are you swapping from another provider or from Optus to a new Optus sim?
@Hogg: Optus to optus
This is what I see from the website. Means that you can get the 35GB the first 3 times you recharge, then it goes back to down to 10GB.
OPTUS PREPAID EPIC DATA
Data: $30 SIM Data Inclusions: After 3rd recharge, $30 recharge gives you 10GB standard data. New customers only. Excludes rate plan change and SIM swaps. Rate Plan ends: 3/6/19 with 2nd and 3rd recharge until 5/8/19.Does anyone know if this is instore as well, or online only?
Decent deal but I dislike Optus network speeds and converge a lot compared to Telstra.
