Excellent price, looks great in white. I paid $1500 recently for the Platinum flymore combo but would have preferred to save a few hundred for the sake of the noisier propellers and motors.

The Alpine version actually has a few items less than the usual Fly More Combo. There are no car charger, charging hub, power bank adaptor and shoulder bag (has a aircraft-sleeve instead). Most people just want 3 batteries so this may be perfect for them.

    • Indeed, I've never needed the car charger myself and the hub is handy but it only actually charges the batteries one at a time still. It just saves you from having to change batteries when they are charged. The shoulder bag isn't actually very useful once you realise that you can't fit the flymore combo in it. My shoulder bag was retired day one.

      • I fit everything I need for the day. Just can't fit hub, car charger or wall charger. Leave them at home

        • I bought a hard case that fits it all in for $40. I'm taking mine on my holidays next month so it will be handy in there and it'll also save the controller's left stick getting crushed again like it did day one in the shoulder bag.

There is only 7 left as of this comment :).

  • Good price!

  • It doesn't say anywhere on the website that the alpine white combo includes fly more pack. It's only got 2 x extra batteries, doesn't even seems to have the extra shoulder bag.

    • Already covered, with more detail, in earlier comments.

      • It says in the description and I quote :
"Alpine White combo includes the Fly More pack.

        Also available: Mavic Pro
        with Bonus Combo Pack(d1store.com.au)

        Combo Pack includes:
2 x Alpine White Intelligent Batteries
2 x Quick Release Folding Propellers
        1 x Shoulder Bag"

This is false information as it doesn't include fly more pack nor does it include the 1x shoulder bag.

        • Yes William, I was directing people to earlier comments that had additional information, not disagreeing with you, cheers.

  • Is the mavic pro better then the mavic air?

    • +1

In some ways yes and others no, it depends on what you want it for.

Pro has better range (Air uses wifi, it can be spotty in congested areas with some on the DJI Oz facebook group complaining of bad connection within 1-200 metres at times whereas the Pro can go up to 7km)

Air has a better 4k video frame rate (Pro is still great with Video but Air is better)

Air is more compact as it goes down to the size of roughly a couple of plus size phones stacked screen on screen and can be fitted in a large jacket pocket, Pro goes down to size of a small flask and can fit in a small shoulder bag easily with spare batteries.

Personally I went with Pro (well a Platinum Pro flymore combo) and I paid $1500 for it and am very happy with it. I considered an Air but the wifi connection was a deal breaker for me.
