This deal uses the Dyson Best Price Policy.

You must make the purchase over the phone. Contact the Dyson Customer Service Team at 1800 239 766 to get started.

At Dyson, we want you to be confident that you are getting the best value and price. If you should find a Dyson product advertised at a lower price by a National Retailer compared to our price on www.dyson.com.au we will match it.

Here is what you’ll need to know:

  • Product must be the identical model as on the Dyson Australia website and must be in stock and readily available for sale.
  • Product must be new and in original packaging. Reconditioned, refurbished, display, demonstrator or damaged products as well as products available for purchase at a Dyson warehouse sale are excluded.
  • Satisfactory proof of current advertised price by a National Retailer is required (eg. flyer, catalogue, website URL, email), must be verifiable and in Australian dollars. Verbal and written offers are excluded.
  • National Retailer’s price must be publicly available in Australia and exclude member-only offers, corporate reward programs or employee discounts
  • National Retailers are the following retailers, located in Australia: Harvey Norman, Bing Lee, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Big W, Costco, Shaver Shop, David Jones and Myer. Other National Retailers may be added by Dyson from time to time by updating this section of the website.
  • Prices due to error in advertising are excluded.

The Big Ball Allergy is currently on special for $499 at both Harvey Norman (https://www.harveynorman.com.au/dyson-cinetic-big-ball-aller…) and Appliances Online.

Dysons price is $799 delivered with 3 bonus tools.

Dyson will price match Harvey Norman as they are a National Retailer as per the Dyson Best Price Policy, but won't match Appliances Online as they are not classed as a National Retailer by Dyson.

When you buy this machine direct from Dyson for $499 using the price match you also get the 3 free bonus tools.

The bonus tools don't come with the machine you get from Harvey Norman so you would be crazy to buy it from Harvey Norman at the same price.

Yes when you price match Harvey Norman's $499 price with Dyson, you still get the 3 bonus tools from Dyson.

You can choose from 3 of the following 5 tools:
* Dyson Groom (RRP $89)
* Reach under tool (RRP $59)
* Soft dusting brush (RRP $49)
* Flexi crevice tool (RRP $49)
* Up top tool (RRP $49)

All of you thinking that the Animal Pro or the Animal are better machines, the only differences between all 3 machines is the tools they come with, the stickers on the machines and the colour of the plastic. The actual motor etc are identical between the 3 machines…

The Allergy has a mattress tool the others don't have.

The Animal has a Swivel hard floor tool and a Tangle-free Turbine tool the Allergy doesn't have.

The Animal Pro has a Swivel hard floor tool, a Tangle-free Turbine tool, a stubborn dirt brush and a Carbon fibre soft dusting brush. Bear in mind you can get a soft dusting brush (not carbon fibre) as one of your 3 bonus tools with the Allergy….

Bear in mind these corded vacs have 250 air watts of suction vs 150 air watts of suction in the portable V10. Extra suction can be useful.

Buying the Allergy with 3 bonus tools worked out better for my needs.

I hope someone else finds it a good deal!

  • What's the Reach Under tool? Sounds useful.

Specs say it has a big ball and a "longer wand". Who could resist?

  • Hi,
Does anyone know what's the difference between dyson big ball origin retailing for $450 and dyson CINETIC big ball retailing around $700 ?
Also, what i understand about all CINETIC big ball variants is that they just come with different heads, and there isnt much difference between the motor or functionality… am i right ?

    Thanks

    • Origin has a filter that needs to be cleaned. The Cinetics dont have a filter that you have to clean or replace.

As per the item description, the only differences between the Cinetic variants are heads, stickers and colour - the motors are the same.

  • Thanks for the quick reply…..
Do you know if the origin and cinetic's cleaning ability is the same ? i understand that origin's filter needs to be cleaned. But does the suction and power vary as well between the 2 types ? do they clean equally good?

    thanks
    much Appreciated.

    • You might want to ask Dyson themselves

According to the web site the Origin actually has 252 Air Watts of suction vs 250 Air Watts for the Cinetics.

2/252 isn't material but that suggests Origin has marginally better suction.

The primary head that comes with the Origin isnt sold on any of the other models.
Whether it performs better or worse than the other heads on the other models I do not know.

  • Cheers mate.. will contact Dyson tomorrow.

  • Does any one have a receipt ? Dyson will match but wont give the free tool.

    • Dyson changed their policy recently to allow price matches to still get bonuses.

Call them again and ask for Marisa…

      • My vacuum arrived today, Wednesday. Ordered Monday.

The 3 extra tools were sent separately - they are arriving tomorrow according to Australia Post.

        • I was on the chat with them today and they did not give me the bonus gift. Where in the T&C can I find the clause ?

          • @Farmacist: I am not sure its in the clauses, but call them again and ask for Marisa…
