Good offering for a colour bulb in this brightness. Saw $20 clearance tag at Kmart (Sunnybank QLD) [1 left in the cabinet], the tag was for the white bulb - but attached to colour. Scanned at $20 regardless of white/colour. Not sure if store-specific error. Looks to be removed from TP Link range on their website. After checking, IFTTT compatibility through the Kasa Smart app. Your lights could change depending on weather, doorbell, your favourite sports team scoring etc (with any trigger from an IFTTT applet).

      • Yes - The first one said they dont price match clearance. Another said that they dont price match receipts - only advertised prices. Oh well :(

        • Yes that's what they told me too, they wont price match clearance, end of line or liquidation prices.

        • Oh well.. I just bought the LB100 for $17 @ Amazon instead. Will use it for the lounge lamp.

  • Did a sweep of several WA stores. Scored 5 LB130 colour bulbs.

  • after using these for a few days- issues- no where near as responsive as hue. Keep disconnecting or getting message "device unresposnsive". No bayonet converter in the 2 I got..

    • It's sad to hear you're having issues… These would take a bit to come online as no bridge (have to connect to your wifi on each power cycle). As you see throughout the thread, I have been advocating these do not have bayonet adapters. It would seem someone ordering from Amazon has received a grey import - as TP link nor anyone who purchased from an Australian "bricks and mortor" store has received the bayonet.

    • If you bought it from Amazon, jump onto chat and tell them you didn't get an adapter and that their first image in their listing shows a picture of an adapter with text on it stating "bayonet adapter included". I had bought 4 globes and they agreed to credit my account $7.99 to buy a 6 pack of adapters. The only catch was that it could only be used on Amazon AU sold and shipped by items hence I had to outlay the money for the adapters as when I purchased them Amazon AU was not a seller of any adapters, and have since used the credit on another purchase. I bought these https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07FGDVT92/ref=ppx_yo_d… and have been very happy with them.

  • Managed to grab two at Chatswood Kmart, looked like they had two more on the shelf.

  • I saw this deal late and even more than past a week, still managed to find one remaining LB130 at first Kmart I went into. Lucky with some sort of late-arriving clearance stock, in my case, maybe. I suspect quite a few OzBargainers assuming stock would be on shelf and not realising cards representing at least the possibility of stock out the back.

Anyway, colour bulb does not serve well if thinking also good for variable colour-temperature white light. This one is bright and very good at default 4000°K, but because of how colour bulbs apportion/employ the LED's available for white light output, dramatically dimmer even one step either side in colour temperature. No more than 40W incandescent equivalent, there, and seems like offering no more than 25W equivalent, beyond that. Warm white 2700°K unconvincing, with a noticeable tint - that improves a bit at the minimum 2500° setting.

Colours reputedly more vivid and bulb overall brighter than Philips Hue and Xiaomi/Philips colour bulbs.
Colours certainly convincing enough. Bulb offers a particularly Lurid Pink, and at least a serviceable OzBargain Orange. If Scotty ruthlessly requires Mods to work with orange cellophane over windows, during the day, and OzBargain T-Shirt draped over Xiaomi lamp, at night, this bulb certainly provides an alternative! :)
TP-Link a good brand in my experience, and bulb should last a long time.

Aside that, bought one of the Mirabella Genio variable colour temp white bulbs to try. Also $20. Very light in weight and may not last for quite same number of hours use as TP-Link or others, but brightness, app, Wi-Fi connect/reconnect, all better than good. Really impressive for the price. Smart, dimmable-only cool and warm Mirabella bulbs were just $15. Regular prices going by appearance of tags on the shelf.

  • Picked up 5 colour and 2 whites. Dont need the whites if anyone interested. Pm me.
After firmware update, the colour bulbs dont change colours anymore. Anyone experience this bug?
