Coleman Hyperflame camp stove. Was $164.90 at Amazon, $169.90 Snowys etc, now $143.91 at Amazon delivered.
Almost bought last night on eBay, for $159.90 and using the 10% eBay code, Amazon are probably price matching the ebay discount code, as it seems an odd price rounding at 91 cents.
Procrastinated this morning and again this evening and went to buy it tonight before the eBay code expires, to find amazon have dropped the price. A quick look before pulling the trigger on eBay and I've just bought it from Amazon.
With cash rewards/shop back this is a really good deal.
Used this stove borrowed on my last two camp trips and was instantly hooked, boils water super fast and wind is simply not an issue with this camp stove design.
Have been monitoring the price since Xmas and this is the cheapest I've seen it's been, free shipping as over $49.
(CamelCamelCamel says it was at its lowest ever price of $131.96 on Jan 5, I must have missed that brief drop in price, unfortunately)

Says can take 30cm pans, but I used the biggest saucepan/frypan we had in our camp cooking gear and no issues at all.
Comes with a hose for left hand 3/8 thread up to 4kg lpg gas cylinders, or use the POL adaptor, bought separately, for the 9kg cylinders.Did you use two round 30cm pans at the same time? That's what I meant sorry, using two round pans next to each other. There's not enough room for them to be on properly, and worth getting two square pans for more real estate.
Have been looking at the hyperflame griddle plate, by Coleman.
You mentioned a rectangular griddle, have you tried that one@Spending2Much: No. I was looking at the same one when I bought mine but it wasn't available in Aus. I bought a third party one. It works; but it kind of sits on top. But this one looks much better. Now that it's available in Aus I may snap it up. It looks like there is a locking mechanism.
@b2dz: From what I've seen on some YouTube vids, it sits on top of the flame guards/wind deflectors, but has lugs that also sit into the guards to secure/hold it in place.
I don't know if it can stay attached while transporting, which would be convenient.@Spending2Much: From a comment on Amazon. Looks like it will store inside it.
"Very heavy! It weighs our camping gear down a lot. However, it is good seasoned cast iron and it stores inside our FyreCaptain hyper flame stove so we’ll stick with it. We store it inside a pillow case. The grease cup is WAY too small for 1 lb of bacon. Still haven’t found a solution for that."
@b2dz: Reviews seem to say it can cracks easily if heated up without food on it for a period of time. Something to be aware of.
$69.90 cheapest I've seen so far for the griddle. (No discount codes)
@Spending2Much: Ive got the griddle plate. It's freakin heavy but can be stored inside the case with the hose, adaptor and oil tray with a bit or organising. I wouldnt use the carry handle with the plate inside due to due weight. You can leave the fry pan at home if you have a griddle.
Downside is you dont get consistent heat across the plate due to the spacing of the two burners. I work around it so it doesnt bother me too much.
Like others have commented, it's hard to get low to moderate heat but not impossible.
I love mine. A 3kg gas bottle lasts our family 3 days easily and I take a disposable one as back up. The heat is awesome and it's a good all round unit.
@pooran: Any sign of the griddle plate cracking?
We have this and it is very good. In terms of heat it is awesome and is not really affected by wind.
Bad points is the size, it is large.
If you use with a 9kg you need to get an adaptor but you still need to use the metal arm as it contains the gas regulator.
The stainless steel that the pans sit on are very slippery so you need to ensure cooking surface is flat.
When it is on they are actually quite loud.
If you can accept the negatives, these things are easily the best camp cooker on the marketCan confirm all your points. All very valid. Along with the higher price point, and the difficulty with low temp simmering/keep warm.
I still bought one.
Ah yes I forgot that the low setting sucks. I found I could turn the gas bottle down and find an ok setting but obviously affects both burners.
This is true. But by far the best on market. Good tip for turning gas down on the bottle.
I have read from other reviews another problem people have with this is it is hard to adjust to flame to moderate heat. It's either small flame or blazing hot flame, hard to get set in between. Are the other owners here have similar experience?
I found quarter of turn to full. Between there and off is ideal, might take a bit of adjustment to get set to what's suitable.
Possibly try the above suggestion from @testeagles (turn down the gas level from the bottle). May give some more flexibility.
Sold out?
But back in stock on February 26th
Same price?
Seems to be. I'll mark it as sold out/unavailable
Sorry.
Mine arrived today. Which considering I only ordered it early hours Sunday morning, delivery to my front door, country WA, by Wednesday morning, is pretty impressive.
Well done Amazon.
These are awesome. I bought one about 2 years ago from BCF for approx $200. Great piece of kit.
Although the two elements are further away from each other than most in class, it's still closer together than a normal stove.
These are best used with square griddle pans, or better yet, a rectangular griddle pan than goes across both. Well worth it. If you use standard rounded pans, you can only use two relatively small pans.
Edit: it takes a smaller gas connector, best used with those smaller cannisters of LPG however I used an adapter to use with a larger gas bottle.
