i think what hes meaning the prices might drop for the 1060.

    • +2

      Its out now

      https://www.pccasegear.com/category/193_1993/graphics-cards/…

      models range from $479-529

imo it makes more sense just to get a 2060.

If you can wait a month or two to find it closer to $350-400 on sale I think the 1660ti is better buy. it's $279 msrp usd vs $350usd for the 2060 and if you look at these results in the link below, you'll see the 1660ti is almost just as fast as the 2060 and you wouldn't even notice it… Additionally I don't think running rtx on a 2060 is worth the performance hit.

          • @Dienk: Newegg don't offer free delivery on items of this size.

            • @jasswolf: Quite the opposite. They even have monitors with free shipping. They are much better now than in the past. I got a projector from them

              • @Dienk: Something's changed very recently, because I'm not seeing free delivery offered on any of these cards.

EDIT: Thinking more about it, the issue might be the dispatch point (not via their big Californian dispatch depot) currently.

  • At least put the full item name in the title…

  • I'd just bought a rx 580 8GB, are these better?

    • +1

Depending on the price. RX580 has the slightly better performance over the majority of the games.

      • Was 190 for the gigabyte model

        • +1

That's a great buy in my opinion.

          • @seriousquokka: But disappointed cause just got offered a xfx 580 this morning for 190 I had to reject it cause I already paid for the gigabyte one

        • Where from?

          • @Blottski: eBay 2nd hand but good condition. Also I have a old 1050ti and I don’t know how much to sell that for

  • Good price, I've been monitoring the 1060 for a while and it's been hard to get them under $360.

  • Should I get this or some amd card?
