Sorbent Toilet Tissue White 10 Pack Half Price $3.75 ($0.375 per roll) @ Woolworths

600

Quite new to oz bargain so am not 100% sure if this is a banger deal but I genuinely think this is a good bargain. I hate having to walk with my bum out for some toilet rolls only to find none are left. Not sure how long it may last, better stock up quick.

Our Silky White toilet tissue is now extra thick and noticeably softer, yet Sorbent is still the same great brand that has been loved by Australians for decades. Sorbent - Gentle on you since 1952.

Extra Soft: Soft sheets for more gentle comfort.
Disperses Quickly: Strong in use but breaks down easily in water.
For Extra Clean: use with Sorbent Flushable Wipes for an extra fre?sh clean.
Thicker & softer (Thicker and Softer than previous Sorbent Silky White Toilet Tissue).

keeping those toilet paper puns rolling

    • This post is far too long. OP has verbal diarrhea.

    • Good one guys, we are definitely on a roll with these toilet puns!

I think Aldi's 3ply 24 pack still works out cheaper? $8 for 24 rolls at from memory 190 sheets each? These are only 180 sheets and not even certain if 2 or 3 ply?

Secondly, I noticed on this packet it says like on Kleenex - "For a more complete clean use Sorbent Flushable wipes". How can these companies get away with advertising them as flushable when so many countries are experiencing huge environmental sewerage problems with these things being flushed?? Shouldn't these toilet paper companies be banned from claiming they are flushable??

    • They are flushable. You can flush them down the toilet.

They just don't claim they are environmentally friendly, nor sewerage system friendly.

I dislike the selling point of "flushable". You'll notice that any deal for "flushable" wipes is highly criticised.

Not even 1c per ass wipe if you use 2 sheets.

  • Is this deal better than something like: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/438106 ??

Are you the new toilet paper deal rep?

    • +4

Nah just a broke Asian bum :(

username checks out; i hope it's not broken because of Sorbent?

21c per 100 sheets for those who don't go by rolls.

For comparison, the Amazon Quilton deal was 21.6c per 100 sheets.

    • Yes! Unit pricing!! Wake up ozbargain.

I used to get the aldi 2 ply or Woolies 2 ply for about 12c per 100 sheets. They're both decent paper. Now my girlfriend gets the fancy 3 ply from aldi which costs around 21c per 100 sheets.

I'd say this is only a great deal if you particularly want sorbent.

  • your username has the word bum in it and you used the word of banger there .. and thicker and softer …
notice where i'm going at ?

    • +3

If you haven't had a banger in your bum, you haven't lived.

The profile pic of OP is better than the deal itself

  • I always buy the Woolies branded 24 roll pack (3 ply). Good stuff at only $0.19/100 sheets (or $0.1864 to be a bit more specific):
