The mouse pairs with up to three computers.

Does it come with 3 RF dongles?

    • +2

Comes with 1, but you can pair with 2 additional standard bluetooth receivers.

      • So does it use Bluetooth or a unified receiver?

        • +1

          both

        • It is able to use both. Comes with a single unified receiver but the mouse itself also has built in Bluetooth.

        • Compatible with both. You can either use the receiver or laptop's built in WIFI/BT NIC.

        • Both. One unified and two more devices can be connected via bluetooth.

        • It connects up to 3 devices using the Unified receiver (included) and an additional 2 other devices as long as they have bluetooth

          • +1

@zhuntai: So if you don't want to use the receiver, are you then limited to only 2 Bluetooth devices?

            • +3

@jv: can connect up to 3 devices each using either unified or bluetooth connection. Only 1 unified receiver is included in the pack. Can only control 1 device at a time - selectable using a button on the bottom.

            • @jv:

So if you don't want to use the receiver, are you then limited to only 2 Bluetooth devices?

You can connect to all 3 via bluetooth.

If you have other Logitech mice/KBs, you can use the unified receiver from those and have 3 devices pair with the same mouse via separate receivers.

              • @lostn: my experience has been different. I haven't been able to connect a single mouse to multiple unifying receivers, ie my PC doesn't have bluetooth and my work laptop restricts bluetooth connection. So I bought an extra unifying receiver and found out that the mouse can only be paired with one receiver at a time, ie, once you try to pair the mouse with the second receiver, the first receiver no longer works.

                • @vietbargain: I can pair with multiple receivers, just need to make sure to choose an unused slot (out of 3). My guess is you replaced the first slot (initially paired with the bundled receiver) with the second receiver. trongy's comment below explains more.

        • It can do both. Something about a unity receiver and 2 more blueteeth.

        • +3

So… I guess it can do both then. Does anyone else have a few minutes spare to over-explain this?

  • +2

The mouse of 2018. brilliant. comfy as f.
Has a button on the bottom to flick between 3 laptops

1 recharge seems to last about 3 months of fulltime work

  • +1

I am using this mouse right now. Very comfortable, very light, charge lasts forever and using it on 3 devices is so damn good. Seriously considering buying a 2nd as this price is insane.

The only gripe is the older model that had batteries came with a nice leather case and this one comes with no case.

    • +1

      @ zarbicore
"The only gripe is the older model that had batteries came with a nice leather case and this one comes with no case."

No this is better. This is a great mouse, particularly when travelling. I use this mouse up to 10 hours a day and a single charge lasts about a week.

As for the travel case. No worries. About $10 bucks gets you a decent hard case from Amazon. Make sure your check the case's interior measurements (most seem to quote the exterior dimensions which is useless) against the dimensions of the mouse.

Going on to 3 years now with mine and it has never missed a beat, althought the Blu-tooth connection drops out from time to time but I suspect this is an issue with Windows 10 because it never drops out with anything else.

I was also looking to purchase another as I suspect the built-in battery is not user serviceable and I hope to get at least 5 years out of this beauty.

Be mindful the mouse wheel doesn't function as a middle mouse button. There is a button just below the mouse wheel for that purpose
Not a con, just worth pointing out and you get used to it pretty quick

    • Thanks for that, it is a bit undesirable for me and I'll pass. Good price though, so upvoted the deal.

      • +1

I think you can adjust that with Logitech software.

        • Yes you can give the button and wheel different functions - as with the other 47 buttons and wheels on the mouse (ahh maybe that’s the Master and this only 27 buttons and wheels)

        • Yes you can adjust the wheel. This has a multi function via software.

    • The wheel can change srolling motion between smooth and friction scrolling by pushing it down so can't use the wheel for that function.

      • That's the default behaviour, but it might be worth checking the Logitech software to see if those functions can be changed in Windows (e.g. Wheel press as middle-button).

    • I never could get used to the "new" location of the middle click button. I switch between different mice depending on which computer I am sitting at, and it throws me off to have to use a different location each time.

      • So now you can buy this and have all your mice (mouses?) doing the same thing.

You know it is the OzB way!

        • I already have this mouse; it's been sitting in its box in my closet for the past few months.

BTW, the plural of mouses is "meese." :D

Waiting for deal on logitech mx master 2s..

    • +1

I've got both and love both. I don't use the extra features of the Master so for me it's based on weather you need a smaller mouse for travelling or a permanent mouse that is bigger and ever so slightly more comfortable.

  • Can this be used for gaming?

    • +3

      Its a mouse,

    • +2

Yeah I think so. I use it for gaming and still suck at it regardless. No lag noticeable

  • +1

Bought this mouse recently for $69 at JB, awesome mouse. Paired with my Anne Pro 2, perfect wireless keyboard and mouse setup.

    • Where to buy the Anne Pro 2?

      • +1

I purchased it on Chinese New Year from AliExpress, during the 20% cashback on ShopBack!

        • No lag on the wireless connection? I had a Bluetooth keyboard previously but the lag was unbearable

          • @dajackal: There's a VERY slight delay between pressing a key and seeing it appear on screen. It's perfectly fine for typing, but not so good for fast-paced games. You'll have to used it wired while gaming.

  • "You can even copy and paste data from one computer to another"
    How does it do it?

  • -2

I have no idea why this thing is so popular. It's not very comfortable and it features a terrible scroll wheel without a button ie. it has no middle mouse button.

    • +3

It does have a middle mouse button function (it's the button just above the scroll wheel) - the centre scroll allows for side scrolling aswell as hyper scrolling. If find both of these extremely useful for the work I do and in no way mind trading that for the location of the middle click. You get used to it quite quickly and you have so much more freedom and functionality with scrolling. Sure it might be a bit over hyped but I don't know another brand that bothers to do side scrolling, and this mouse does it well. For this price you simply can't go wrong. /2c

    • Agreed. Too small. See my comments below.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Picked one up. Can use PICK3 for those who don’t have/don’t want to sign up to eBay Plus with hassle of cancelling. Comes to $53.54

  • highly recommended mouse, decent built and smooth rolling too.

  • Unfortunately I used all my PLUSPICKUPs on alcohol :(

  • +1

This is a great little mouse. There's the middle-button issue (that a couple of other folks have already highlighted), but other than that I find it quite comfortable. I use mine on my laptop and combine it with a BT keyboard on a phone. (It's nice that phones these days can do quite a lot of what you used to need a full PC for!)

The only caveat for phone usage (on Android, at least): this mouse presents as a keyboard+mouse, even though it has no keyboard keys (this might be related to the cross-host copy/paste feature?); depending on how your phone is configured, that might mean turning on the mouse hides your on-screen keyboard. For me, this is not an issue because I only use the mouse on the phone when I'm also using the BT keyboard, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

  • It’s too small.

The bigger one master has the lip on the side which I hate.

    • +1

@ T1000 "It’s too small." For you, okay I get that,

      However

      Great for:
      Travelling
      Tight space
      Smaller female hands
      Children's hands
      and
Perfect for (some) people with disabilities… arthritus, MS etc. (depending upon degree)

For me, personally, I cannot get a grip on the Master as it is way too large

  • Still salty about my Xbox One X and will stand my never buying from these lot again.

Good mouse though. I like mine a lot.

  • +1

Has anyone tried to ask amazon to pricematch the discounted price?

  • Just be aware that last time I ordered a mouse from TGG, they took my money, confirmed the order, then secretly cancelled the order with no notification or refund. As it was around Xmas it took me a few weeks to realise it wasn't coming.

I had to contact TGG to get a refund. Sad that they are about as reliable as other dodgy onlinbe sellers.

I prefer store pick up for that reason.

  • +1

    Anyone having issues at checkout?

    • "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again." same.
tried buying two wouldn't work, tried two more times still the same.
tried buying one went through, tried buying second one, won't work again. Says they're still in stock at the location I picked though.
      won't work through mobile ethier.

  • No stock anywhere in Perth :(

  • +1

I tried contacting Amazon. They said that their resource do not allow them to lower price. However, I negotiated with them for lower price. They gave me a $10 dollars promotional credit to use on anything so….win win!

  • OOS now?

  • Hoping someone can help RE this mouse. I've got a Mac (for work). One of the best features of the Mighty Mouse, or whatever it's called, is the ability to scroll up/down/left/right with your index finger. Does this mouse do something similar i.e easily scroll in all directions? I'd like to have one mouse for both work and home PC.

  • Was meaning to get one this morning but forgot then a few hours later, sold out.

I guess I'll hold out for Master 2S then.

  • +1

For anyone that might have missed out, I just called my local TGG and they do have stock at $55.20 even though it's disappeared from the website. Additional 10% off for VIP night also applies so will come down to the same price as the eBay deal.
