i dont think KLM flies to australia. and it would seem the terms and conditions suggest the closest airport KLM flies.. not so sure it would extend to their codeshare flights!

Yep. KLM hasn't flown to Australia for years. I'd be weary of this comp. KLM doesn't fly to Hawaii at all!
