First time post.

Got this deal from email.
It's best deal for 128 GB currently as far as I know.

Just ordered it last night and got expected delivery date of 19th March.

  • You probably need URL link from their newsletter.

    • You can share the link with us? just copy into the description when you post the deal.

edit: added it in. coupon is activated when you visit the link and it stays in browser cookies.

    • Plus 10% GST as Banggood's prices display as ex GST until checkout.

  • Just flashed to Pixel Experience. It's about as good as it gets!

I actually prefer Poco Launcher which you can get from the Play Store.

Why all launchers that don't use app drawers, I'll never understand.

    • Easy to flash? Do you need a windows computer to do it?

      • Not as simple to unlock as a pixel, but pretty easy. You will need a windows PC to unlock the bootloader and there is a 72hr unlock wait period.

Off the top of my head it's basically

        1. Request bootloader unlock
        2. Wait 3 days.
        3. Install Adb on PC
        4. Unlock bootloader with miflash unlocker
        5. Boot into fastboot with volume down + power
        6. Install TWRP via command line on PC
        7. Flash vendor ROM
        8. Flash Pixel ROM
        • For someone with no experience doing this sort of thing - is this a relatively safe process?

      Which launcher doesn't have folders?

Its also $448.00 via HKBNS on ebay with the current 10% off coupon. A few people mentioned they are not the most reliable seller, but i got mine in a week, shipped within Australia. Great phone, especially on the pixel experience rom.

    • A better deal for me because it seems salary sacrificing wants a GST invoice, which an Aussie seller should give you. Interest is piqued.

    • There's a lot of negativity from this page OzBargain.

  • $445.55 shipped from Toby Deals. No idea what they're like for service.

Similar to guy above. Got it from HKBNS for $350 with all the coupons a few weeks ago. Shipped out really quickly and they even threw in a free microSD!

  • This or the Xiaomi Mi 8?

    • If you need NFC, ignore the Pocophone.

  • Can one claim back GST on phones bought from Banggood?

      assuming you're referring to TRS?
Not an expert but the invoice from Banggood doesn't state ABN so probably you can't claim.
