Yeah, went into JB as I heard they do telstra plans (telstra best for coverage in my area) and they offered 50GB for $45 with a $200 voucher. I'm left thinking what's the catch? How can JB offer such a better plan using the telstra network than telstra themselves? Do they only have access to part of the network? Not sure…

A Wiki outlining how to determine the best value based on your usage would be great. ie - you should go with pre-paid if… and you should go for SIM only if…, and you should go postpaid if… etc.

This is best IMHO. Hasn't got over 400 votes for no reason ;) .
It's 12 months prepaid up front, $10 month, 60gb data .
So provided you don't use all data first month etc (set limits in phone settings is easy) then you have 5gb per month.
Note: look for something else in 12 months time, as this is on sale atm. In 12 months there will probably be something better and also this deal won't be current (usually $180 for 12 months 60gb).
