  • Anyone tried these they look good but seem expensive

    • Thinking about it. The reviews on Amazon are really good.

  • I'll just buy 8 Nitecore keychain LEDs instead

Both the tube and these rovyvon's prices reflect their respective build qualities.

Aurora's are in a different league compared to the tube.

  • Not sure about this one but I have BLF A8 from Banggood for around aud30. Pair with 18650 and D2 nitecore charger. Best flashlight ever.

    • +1

Rovyvon aurora's venture into enthusiast grade torches and are higher quality than budget torches. The A6 has 3 different emitters being a map light lantern and a UV emitter.

      • Just to defend blf a bit. Having ‘Budget’ in the name doesnt really mean the blf is an amateur level flash light. Blf A6 has 7 different emitters modes with output max at 1600lumens , used CREE led and is considered high power as it use 18650 as a power source, and ipx-8 waterproof.

I have an A6 and am well aware of bl forums. I never meant to imply amateur or cheap, but it still is a budget light without the fancier bells and whistles similar torches in the single 18650 torch range, instead focusing on raw performance.

I know it was tongue in cheek but best flashlight ever is subjective from person to person)application.

          • @Skinnerr: Well answered. May be I should try this one then.

            • @SickMyDuck: I went with the A5 with UV light as it has a glow in the dark body which is mega cool 😎

Ive been edcing an A6 for the past few months and I love it. Super bright and doesn't turn on and burn my ass pocket when I sit on it, unlike my now retired tini.

    • After I upgrade lights I keep them in places where I know I'll need light if I don't have one on me (which is like never lol 😁). I keep my tini in the car console now.

      • I have my tini next to my computer.

        • '…Where dafuq did I drop that beef jerky' 😁
