Car Service in Balwyn/Surrey Hills (VIC) area

Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend a good and not too expensive place for car servicein the Balwyn or Surrey Hills area? I am happy to go a little bit further as well (i.e. Box Hill). The vehicles are Toyotas. I have heard some not so good things about Midas and Ultratune, but don't really know which local mechanics to look at.

    Be wary of Bradshaw Auto of Maling Road, Canterbury. Wife went there years ago and they duped her into parts, repairs & labour she didn't need and were hyperinflated. How old is your toyota and what models?

    Can't work out which mechanic they are talking about though.

    Is there a mechanic in the area you have used and are quite happy with?

      Ultra-Tune on Canterbury Rd, Surrey Hills was good last time I went.

    We go to this guy in Hawthorn. Good service and we think their prices are reasonable. :)
