So far only AdBlock seems to be blocking YouTube ads (on Safari) for me.
Even without the VPN mode.I have AdBlock. It doesn’t remove YouTube ads when using the app (I only ever use the app).
But it’s still good on Safari.
Yep this is what I’m using too thank god it was free at the time
The 'best' one is AdGuard Pro!
just installed on my Mac, it works great, thanks
There’s adds on iPhone? iPhone already has add blocker in its iOS….
iPhone already has add blocker in its iOS….
Would be elated to see how you've made this conclusion.
Is it the subtract function of the calculator?
Lately I’ve been using Firefox Focus.
Try pihole if you want device wide adblocking on your home network.
Not anywhere near as effective.
Anyone know for non rooted androids what is the best adblocker app for YouTube and websites
uBlock origin is hands down the best general website popup/ad blocker I've come across for Firefox/Chrome on PC and Android - ever since the creator of the original AdBlock sold out and started taking money from advertisers to let their ads through the block list.
I'm not sure how uBlock Origin does with blocking YouTube in-video Ads but in general adblockers don't handle it very well. Google puts a lot of time and resources into getting around adblockers.
Youtube has ads? THAT's how good uBlock Origin is i had forgotten they even existed.
I know right. God its a dirty dirty place without the likes of uBlock Origin installed. I have little doubt this will affect our cleansed youtube experience.

Might prompt me to move across to FireFox as Mozilla have up'd their game with the more recent quantum releases.
Yes I know PC has unblock origin. I couldn't find one that works well in Andorra phone and IOS phone
I'm not sure if ublock origin works with safari but it works perfectly with Chrome and Firefox.
how to install uBlock on Android?
What browser do you use? It's available as an extension/add on for Chrome and Firefox. If you google uBlock + origin + "your browser name" you be able to find it
@shawnsmaggot: Chrome.. but this is on mobile not desktop.
for youtube use youtube vanced
I use Blockada
Does using AdBlocker on iOS affect cashbacks like Shopback/Cashrewards? I normally use the Shopback app when buying from Amazon AU, but I was wondering if having AdBlocker installed and activated would affect tracking for cashback purposes
Yes, adblockers will definitely cause issues with cashback sites that rely on tracking cookies such as shopback, a cashrewards etc.
This is where good adblockers like uBlock origin come in handy. With uBlock Origin you can click the unlock symbol at the top of the browser and it will turn off (permanently or temporarily) the adblocking of that particular site - so no issues with Cashback tracking
In iOS, long press the Safari 'refresh' symbol in the browser address window. Bings up an option window to Reload without adblockers.
Grabbed the ad blockers. I’m always searching for the best one.
