Hi Everyone!
Long time lurker, first time poster,
Just noticed this deal today looking for a new school laptop,
Ended up paying below 1200 after negotiation,
It’s the cheapest price on the market even before you include the added Type Cover (worth $200 RRP)
Picked up two today,
Edit : If you don’t want to negotiate, Microsoft are offering $1249 for the same bundle, credits to ASHGOON,
The link is here for that https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/p/surface-pro-6-platinum-128…
Hope this helps and don’t be afraid to ask any questions,
Thanks for Reading!

For those chasing a deal.
Walk into JB HiFi name your price at $1200 there and then.
Cut to the chase and you are more likely to get a deal
I’d start lower, that way they will go lower
I was riding high with my just sub 1200 deal.
Now I feel like I lost out haha
JB Hifi got them down to $1150 winning
Was that including the alacantra keyboard or just the normal one? Tried the normal one and it's quite loud. Did you also use the Microsoft bargain as leverage?
Just the normal one. The guy was not going to budge under $1200. He followed me out the store to the carpark.
So how did you get it for 1150 if he wouldn't budge for 1200? Any tips for bargaining? Usually I just give them the price, they say no and tell them I am walking out. What do you do?
@aimon: I'm not proud of it but I had to suck his dick.
@thesaver: Taking a shot in the mouth. Got it.
Are you able to post receipt thesaver? I need to get two of these bundles for work.
Seems like a nice deal. Thanks
Has anyone come across a good deal on the pen? Also, how do you find the pen?
With the recent amex offer, its extra $100 off

It's pretty expensive just to use as a tablet, but that's a matter for you. The full windows functionality in a compact and fast package is the major selling point here.
You could of course use this as a tablet and then have the option to make it more functional later. If you're an Android user like me you'd prefer this over an iPad but it's not amazingly user friendly as a tablet.
