Of course, we all know how quickly LG phones drop in value. Personally, not for me. But considering there is a bonus watch, sounds like a deal to me. Personally, this is much better deal for me

Second this. Not a fan of this phone myself. Might be good for someone who is after this model, with the bonus watch

Ridiculous price for the hardware imo

Will it be price error? I m not touching Kogan.

    • Yep, looks like a pricing error, sucks for the people who think they bought one.

    • +2

      Yes. Price too high.

It will be worth $479 in just over a year so I am just going to wait it out;)

      $432 even…:)

  • Got a second hand xz2 for 329 after the last ebay 20pc discount. From Sony au too!

No way you should be paying rrp.

  • Wait for S10 and watch this bad boy drop like crazy! Beautiful phone and watch but seems a little too bubbly at the moment!

    Pricing error. Don't bother buying.

  • LG always a generation behind in processors since the G6. The first time I believed their excuses now I'm thinking it's just cost saving and then trying to charge almost as much as new flagships with newer processors to maximise profit. Always releasing towards the end of life of the current processor, but just before the new one comes out. I think that is their business strategy. Pity the watch is so crap too.

    • The G7 released with the 845 when it was first rolling out and this V40 was actually released in October last year no idea why it's just shown up in Australia. So the G6 was the only phone with a last gen SoC.

  • If only they released it later with a 855.
Also they really need to start releasing software updates sooner.

  • Be weary. Could be a pricing error. Happen the other day too.

A bit big for my wrist.

If you aint rocking a wall clock for a watch flava flav style. You aint down with it.

  • 8mp for front camera in 2019 is a bit disappointing

    • What's disappointed? My pixel 2 front camera is very good, better than heaps of 20MP camera. The Pixel 3 is even better, rated best front camera by DXOmarks.

Comparing MP is useless without first knowing sensor size. Front camera can only be so big in size. In fact I would stay away from generic trash phones with 20-24MP selfie camera.

The only reason why Huawei P20 Pro or Mate 20 Pro rear camera is so good is their sensor size is almost twice as big as other 24-40MP camera on phones. Even the usual 12-13MP rear camera on flagships are bigger than trashy 24-40MP cam, about 30% more sensor size. DSLR for example is several times bigger, so their 24-40MP is actually good.

      • By comparison on my Nexus 6p 8MP vs LG G6 5MP.

It made a hell lots of different

  • Oppo finx X for $899 since last year
    SD845
    8gb/128gb

  • It's a nice phone indeed but just seems overpriced now. Had this come out with all the other flagships months ago it might have stood a chance. Just because you're late to the party doesn't mean you should expect us to overpay now.

    Numerous better (and cheaper!) alternatives.

  • People paying this for ANY phone needs their head read.

    • Hope you dont find out how much them people are paying for iphones. You might faint. 😝

      • Oh, I know. Crazy.
