The George Street, Parramatta JB Hi-Fi has a lot of old stock.

Was there earlier this month, they still had Wii and Wii U Games/Accessories.

  • +1

Might have to check out some local JB's, some great deals there.

    • +1

Ditto. Already going to our local JB tomorrrow for a cable so will have to check out any games deals now too.

  • Good find!

  • What's in the bundle? Just amibos?

    • Game + Amiibo

Zelda for wii u for $5 at target was a better deal.

    • +2

Well yes it was I guess! 😂

    • +3

Mars bars for 20 cents was the best deal and they were proper size too.

  • There's not a lot of stock floating around for these bundles anymore.

I'd avoid the CBD stores and hit up the suburbs. More obscure location, the better.

I don't think I've played the caps lock version of HYRULE WARRIORS

    • caps lock version best version

    Full price on JB online

Full price instore at JB Cannington

Think this is a store exclusive deal

    • Did you ask for a price check in store?
And is the online price for the bundle of said game or standalone?

Only other thing I can think is maybe this was being set up for tomorrow as most East coast stores would be shut now

  • Bottom left looks like Xenoblade Chronicles X, wish I had a Wii U.

    • I have a wii u, is it that good?

      • I'm not sure how good it is. I like the series but I haven't had a chance to play XCX yet, I'm hoping for a Switch port so I can try it.

      • +1

It's good. Long and a little generic though, but the battle system is deep and the universe is massive and fun to explore.

        • +1

          "long and generic"
So.. a typical JRPG then :P

          • @Fappo: More generic in the sense that it feels nearly more mmo style despite it being a single player. Missions are usually fetch quests or kill this monster etc. Still its a game worth playing if into jrpgs especially if you played any of the other xenoblades.

      • I really enjoyed it. I played it for about 100 hours and I still haven't finished the game. I have never spent this many hours in any other singleplayer game. (Yes, it has a multiplayer mode but I'm yet to try it).

    • Correct, although that was $30

  • Which stores? Just city and Parra?

  • -1

Has anyone found anything like this at another store?

    • I've seen an area or box of old stuff in the gaming section at a few JB's.. Sometimes it's on the floor.

    • I saw Chibi Robo Amiibo bundles in Ballarat yesterday. $20

  • +1

    store specific deals

    • yeah I think it might be store specific, usually the online items would reflect these prices or be removed off the website if they were discounted this much.

  • +1

I feel like i should get Animal Crossing.
Always hear good things about that series, never played it…

    • +1

eh don't get that animal crossing it's awful, Take a look at any of the 3ds or ds animal crossings or wait for the switch one.

      • Ah OK, thanks for the tip.
        Will wait for Switch

    • That AC version has been much cheaper elsewhere in the past, is currently in the 3 for 18 deals on EB website without the amiibo which is a much better deal.

Wouldn't recommend that version though, it isn't a proper AC game.

  • Is this cheap? What do you do with the toy?

  • +1

I just went to Brighton and Cheltenham JB stores in VIC and there wasn't any sale. Must be just OP's store.

  • No stock in Melbourne CBD

  • Pitt St Sydney had only 3 bundles.

Mario Rush was $59 or so.

    The other two were $29

  • I just went to the George St Parramatta JB and the only games left were about 4 Animal Crossing games for Wii U and Skylanders games. Sadly no 3ds games.

  • +1

My local said no, too cheap, that's even cheaper than staff discount, $50 too cheap, price is $100. I said enjoy your stock for eternity. o.O

    • For eternity lol

  • +1

Went to my local. Wii u games where still priced at $89

    • Pretty much… No deal here (4 us)

  • Nothing at George St sydney store folks
    Games are stil $79

  • I think it could be store specific. I tried 2 stores and both salespeople told me they had no instructions from head office to mark them down (to $20).

  • +1

I just brodened Bourke St for 3DS.

Thank you ever so kindly OP.

    • Super Smash 3DS
    • Fire Emblem Fates 3DS
    • Mario Rush 3DS
    • HYRULE WARRIORS 3DS

so which of these is the best ?

    • All Different games but fates is most valuable.

Best game Imo is smash though.

  • Nothing in Balcktown and Castle Hill. Apparantely specific deal on that store only. Called that JB they don't have any anymore.

  • Chatswood Chase NSW store had the following left:

$10 Wii U Animal Crossing + amiibo (5 bundles left)
    $10 3DS Chibi-Robo zip lash + amiibo (4 bundles left)
2 for $40 sticker 3DS Fire Emblem Fates (1 left)

Couldn't see any other bundles at the store.

    • +1

Thanks, bought one animal crossing. 3 left.

  • None at either of my locals. Closest was $39 for animal crossing. Had a $10 credit from that reciept deal they did last year to use. Ended up getting one of those street fighter light up things for $10. Couldnt find anything else i wanted.

  • I did get lucky at a JB in Perth that still had the Yoshi Wooly World + Poochy Amiibo set for $20 so there are still some great deals out there.
