Availability seems decent in WA for Click & Collect, postage to other states probably not worth it as ranged from $30.00+
I was able to price match via Harvey Norman Online Chat

Im in Vic and was able to get a price match via Harvey Norman online Chat. They didn't ask which state i was in(if they ask best say WA otherwise they might factor in postage), only if i was going to purchase online and what form of payment. after a couple minutes the rep sent a link with populated with promo code to match retravison. From there you can choose click n collect from any store you like (which is what i did)

    • I also have this kettle. It's great. Only complaint is the text can rub off over time, which you might notice on the instore demo units. Otherwise, it's excellent.

    • What is the power on this? The Breville is 1800W, so assuming that would heat the 1.7L faster than the KMart one if it's much weaker for example, but I can't tell.

      • can't imagine it be any lower than 1800w

even cheapo 20 bux ones are 2400w

        wattage means jack though

I have this kettle. So far so good after a year or so of use. Perhaps I'm one of the lucky ones as there's plenty of complaints online. My main beefs with it are:

    • you have to descale it often if you want it to look slick on the inside too
    • it's pretty heavy — misses is not a fan

These things are the worst when it comes to power consumption, constantly heating the water to keep it warm.

    Get a flask instead.

That's how all kettles work. The "keep warm" function means that they need to re-heat the water to increase it's temperature.
A flask will keep your water warm for much longer but you still need a kettle to boil the water.

      • Yes. Its specifically the "keep warm" function i was referring to.

      don't press keep warm then

      • That's over price for an electric kettle.

you can press 5 other buttons - green tea, white tea, oolong tea, coffee, black tea.

    • They only 'keep warm' for 20 mins

Good price. Good kettle. Keep your receipt just in case you get a bad one. Hopefully they stopped making bad ones. I’ve been using mine 15 months no issue.

  • I got one of these over Xmas. Great Kettle so far. Very quiet too.

For those that aren't too keen on the clear, Harvey Norman now have what they are calling ICE colour for $82 on clearance. Availability may be limited.
