RIP to those who recently bought off eBay
$311 for the 128GB https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/xiaomi-pocophone-f1-128gb-graph…
Thanks mate both insane deals
Omg at this price can’t go wrong
Is it lock with Kogan mobile sim? It forces you to buy a prepaid sim card for some reason.
Nope it should be unlocked.
yes, getting some weird addition of a $15 sim in the cart
also how to get free shipping?
Used the 128gb link in asa79's post. It doesn't have that sim card attached.
Thanks OP, was in my wish list, never saw it < $400, pulled the trigger
Damnnnnn it. I missed it, I have one with 64GB Superb phone but wanted 124GB for sister.
nothing missed here, received e-mail from Kogan it was pricing error.
WTF, they should honor it.
Back to 489 lols
Looks like price has gone back up
Must be a pricing error
Damn too late!
How does this phone measure up against the LG V20 as potential replacement?
Great phone if you can do without NFC and wireless charging…
v20 has nfc pay and band 28 for rural or poor coverage areas……if you are a myki user might be idea to check what you need from a phone so you don’t need a myki to use public transport ….which uses nfc …….
Myki might have those NFC tags you can slap on the back of your phone/wallet? Otherwise could buy a thin phone case and just put your regular Myki card inbetween
Lucky, just got one before it expired.
Yeah but will they honor it?
They honored my phone plan
That's different from an expensive smartphone. They wouldn't be able to afford to take a 40% hit on heaps of expensive smartphone orders.
Your phone plan was meant to be 40% off so there's no confusion about price error. (Assuming you're talking about Kogan mobile?)
waiting game begins
damn missed it!
Nothing to miss. It's a pricing error and no orders will get honoured.
I got my order confirmation and it say under the price of the phone: 40% OFF on Our Trending Deals
So as far as I can figure, it's a done deal?
Pfft. No way. Not a done deal until it has been dispatched.
Got same conformation, will be happy if its cancelled, don’t need the phone for myself at the moment. Will be even happier if its get delivered can’t have enough of shiny new phones someone in the family is due upgrade
@ablqadir: Do let us know what happens, I'm on the edge of my seat here
@ablqadir: I'll be even happier if it isn't cancelled and you sell it to me :)
Does snapchat lag on this device? I had bought xiaomi before and had issues zooming on snapchat..
From my understanding Snapchat sucks on all andriod devices. It only takes a screenshot of the screen not a photo unlike iPhone. I may be wrong some devices might be supported now
I have snapchat on this and it works perfect. Better than on my shitty lg g4
^can confirm. Also have snapchat. works smoothly.
Thank you for that…
Dam amazing deal, wish it was on for longer!
Looks like my order has changed to status "REFUND REQUESTED" and cancelled. Any ideas whether possible or tips on how to push back on this? Cheers
Same here :(
Looks like everyone who said this deal will not get honoured was correct.
Such a shame since Kogan is Aussie and I would've thought they would operate at a higher standard.
It's probably in their t&c's that they reserve the right to cancel based on price errors.
They would operate at a higher standard… ha, hahahaha
It is within their rights to cancel, except tis was intentional with so many deals. They wanted to bring traffic to their site. I didn't vote positive as I have expected this result. Russlan didn't rise from the bottom selling peanuts. he knew what he was doing.
Got a cancellation email … with $10 voucher valid until 31/01 for orders over $100. Feels not like an apology but a great marketing trick to get people buy something of value with typical "urgency" … rather don't send a voucher and just say sorry.
What does Australian laws say about this? They did advertised 40% off even in the order confirmation email. Can we take legal actions against them?
Genuine pricing errors are not illegal.
It's only illegal if you can prove it's a "Bait and Switch" or they never had enough stock to fulfill the offer in the first place.
eCommerce website items and prices are considered an "invitation to treat' and is not a binding sales contract until the certain conditions are met on the seller side.
Except that this wasn't 1 item they stuffed up with.
Was getting this plus an $800 pixel 3 xl …NOT….so disappointed
This is really cheap
