I sent them the ACCC reference to show them I was not kidding.

Kogan ABN 53152570351
Description
Bait and switch, unethical conduct.
Kogan advertised and took payment for a number of discount mobile phones but reneged on the offer and cancelled the contract of sale.
Refund has still not been processed.
For example I purchased a Huawei Mate 20 Pro phone for $839 and Kogan took payment not subsequently cancelled the order and offered a $10 voucher valid for a $100+ spend instead.
Refund has not been processed or received.
Pricing error was cited as the excuse but this issue impacted multiple products and multiple consumers and refund have not been received.
I would like Kogan to make good on the deal.
I also reported them using your template I also added it clearly states in the receipt 40% off trending products so how can they turn around and say pricing error
Reported to ACCC.
Thanks for the template.
Thanks. I will report them to ACCC.
I received the email as well. It may be a long shot but I've contacted Kogan stating that I believe I was lured in via bait advertising, as the initial item was not supplied, but I have been encouraged by the voucher to purchase another item from Kogan instead.
It's a long shot, but I'm also pretty unhappy so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

thank you Done.
I have submitted my complaint to the ACCC and Kogan.
So they should just cancel your order and offer you nothing? You criticize them for trying to compensate? This is wrong man.
Probably less insulting for them to cancel and not offer that crappy voucher tbh.
When other stores such as the good guys cancel your order, they usually give you a $10 voucher with no minimum spend
I reckon this is done by IT as a cheap way to do performance load tests by the real world public.
It boosts traffic artificially.
Also looks good for stats if Kogan share this data with investors. They can claim they made thousands of high value sales on a lazy Sunday morning.
I will take notes and suggest at workplace. What a brilliant idea. load testing with cost as little as few expiring vouchers
And vouchers that force a high minimum spend too!
Sales managers can use this tactic too to boost sales and meet KPIs. It's end of month Afterall… Monthly goals have just been met. Refunds will be processed next month probably.. new sales managers problem.
Maybe we are lucky:

@boxall: Any response from them via FB? Was thinking of contacting them there myself and questioning the situation. Just to see if they expand on the BS they wrote in their email
