Game has really good reviews. Tons of Aussie games are on sale on steam here : https://store.steampowered.com/sale/aussie-sale/
Other than this, I'd highly recommend Game Dev Tycoon.

good game, I picked it up on the Switch when it was going cheap a little while back.

have to say that the strange lack of momentum took me quite a while to get used to though. Obviously Metroid has always had less of momentum than Mario Bros for example, but there still is some… there's near enough to zero in Hollow Knight.

Antichamber is a really good & unique puzzle game also in this sale.

Completely focused on lateral thinking & non-Elucidean geometry. Non-linear for the most part, so if you get stuck (which you will, and sometimes you're supposed to!) you can come back to a specific puzzle later.

I went into Hollow Knight blind, and just finished it this week. So I didn't really understand it was basically 2D Dark Souls! However, the controls and platforming is exceptionally on point, and the scarcity of save points makes progress super rewarding. I enjoyed it, but it's definitely not for everyone; it took me about 10 hours to confidently navigate around the world and 35hrs to complete to 100%.
