Not a huge wrestling fan, but my brother likes it so I picked one up to play together occasionally.

You gonna be so sad playing this on the switch.

    • Agree, friend who works at EB and owns every wwe game+Is obsessed with the show said that it was absolute trash.
I bought it because it was only $18 and worst case scenario it just gets added to my collection without being played.

But for anyone wanting to play, recommend against it.

      • Yeah I read a couple reviews and don't have high hopes at all, just an option for us to play together every now and then.

but multiplayer is what makes it worst. like 10-15fps. and 4 players will crash the game… unbearable

  • Just be aware that it has pretty long load times, and runs a little slow in game.
If you turn off entrances and stuff like that it will be slightly better.

Watch a review of this first please. It's terrible.

So this deal is THEY pay YOU $18 to own the game, right?

    (still wouldnt be enough!)

  • Did they ever bother to patch this game? Otherwise I read that it's super laggy and not worth playing. I would avoid unless they patched the game to make it playable.

I honestly don't think i'd pay money for this. If someone gives it to me for free i still wouldn't play it. In a few years it will probably be $5 unless there's some kind of collectors value for it considering it's for the switch, doubt it though

As a collector, I can assure you it is purely on the shelf as a token effort towards completionism ;-)

I foolishly paid $65 for it back in the days. [bangs head on desk]

      • cool, i collected for the wii u because it only had 165 titles and i figured some games would eventually be worth something. I'm thinking about collecting for the Switch, it'll give me pleasure as I grind out my studies.

In less than two years, I've collected more titles for the Switch than I ever did for either of my fave consoles of all time (Mega Drive and Dreamcast). Having adult income makes a big difference as does having access to games from all regions.

I'm already at around 300 games (only criteria is must be physical cart AND have English support) and I'm not your classic Nintendo fanboy….I was always Team Sega as a kid/young adult.

But the Switch is just an outrageously fun and practical system.

          • @[Deactivated]: My first system was Master System (new), then in order of buying Super Nintendo (new), N64 (new), PS1 (used) Playstation 2 (new), NES (used), Wii (new), PS3 (used), XBOX 360 (used), PS4 (new), Wii U (used), Switch (new). 64 is my personal favourite.

      • Would have been better if I started collecting from the beginning of the Switch. Some games are already impossible to get I assume.

        • Honestly, if you limit yourself to local AU releases, then most titles are easy enough to find if you hunt about.

Same goes for most mainstream EUR released games (note: most Aussie releases are just OLFC rated covers for EUR carts).

Gets a little more complex if you want some of the earlier US and JP releases which are out if production now.

Of course, all of the limited run and collector's editions disappear pretty quickly too. In some cases, eg Celeste, all 2,500 copies were sold in two batch releases lasting just 48sec and 72sec respectfully. Crazy.

          • @[Deactivated]: I have retro city rampage for switch which could be worth something

            • @bailbondsh: True. Though the value depends on which version of the two covers you have AND if standard edition or in the collector's edition ;-)

A genuinely horrific title on the Switch.
