Check reviews on this brand before you buy. Lots of warning bells.

Dead man’s handle? What the hell is that?! Handle dead man like in horror movies?

Or you could buy it from ebay for $879 + shipping with code "POOLTIME" 20% off

Which is around $370 cheaper than what u have posted… When i i checked shipping costs both kogan and the ebay seller charge the exact same amount.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Baumr-AG-SGR750-Stump-Grinder-18…

Even without the 20% code its still $1,099.00… So i dont see where the bargain here is.

    • This guy grinds.

You're right. Gees my deal sucks.

        You should neg it.

          I tried!

    • Much cheaper than this deal.

    • Or you could buy it direct from the Chinese manufacturer for about $500 USD and negotiate them down by getting a few other people to join in. If you're going to buy cheap Chinese crap, at least do it right.

      • That one from Ali has no safety switch to operate it plus any other features, at least the one above has local warranty and complies to AU standards

  • perfect for a career change or side hustle :)

  • So I bought one and downloaded the app for it.

There are so many tradesmen that can work on it bare chested it seems…

Are you talking about porn that you accidentally found while using the app?

Super cheap solution. Cut a 44 gallon drum in half throw it over the stump and build a fire. If you currently don't have fire restrictions.

    • Not all hero's wear capes!!! I was looking for a cheap solution to get rid of an apple tree stump. I will try this for sure.

      • also, find the biggest drill bit you have and drill out the stump as much as possible , that way the fire will eat through it quicker. and try and dig the dirt away from around the stump that way it will burn down a bit.

Another solution that doesn't involve fire, but takes a while: find some rotting wood, of the sort that crumbles or is powdery in your hand. Collect some of that wood. Drill vertical holes in your stump, and feed the rotten wood in. Water the stump and cover it with lawn clippings to keep it damp.

I did this to one of my stumps, and it went rotten in about a year. It was a Chinese elm that kept re-sprouting, I think the rot followed the roots all the way down, it hasn't re-sprouted in the year since. All that is left is a hole filled with spongy wood, one day I'll scrape the wood out and fill with soil. I don't want to do that yet, as I still have another stump I want to remove, so I need the rotting wood.

        • Sounds like a long process but great work

          • @DannyBoy: It was the laziest option!

I may have been lucky with the rotten wood I found - it may take longer depending on the particular fungus.

I've been trying to think of a single occasion in my life when I would have needed one of these but it's got me stumped.

    • same, but bought one anyway

Hope you got it from eBay.

300mm? If my stumps were that small I'd have dug them out already.

  • +1

Thanks OP, just what I needed - my stump to be grinded…

    • Lucky you. It has an "Integrated Dead Man’s Handle".

  • I got burnt with a crappy AGR machine. That didn't last a few hours of actual use.

Went to neg the deal and my fat finger hit the plus. I can't find how to change it 😔.

Kogan selling shit products.. i don't believe it </sarcasm>

  • I've had a few trees cut down in my time. Usually it's only an extra ~$50 to get the stump ground down too.
