    Lol, they have a really different "definition" to METRO…. Melbourne 3000-3130 is more like Inner Melbourne. Melbourne Metro is usually defined as 3000-3207.
    Not going to pay $24 for delivery to 3132 (This is definitely Metro).

    I have had 1000's of things delivered and I always have fallen under the Brisbane Metro category.

    But the shipping to my place is near $50 from these guys….

    I'm down voting this..
    This is quite clearly not free shipping to Metro areas.

    Yea, I would have jumped on it, if it wasn't for shipping.
    Maybe the OP can do a Ozbargain Special… instead of a using Ozbargain to do free advertisements….

    I looked at their previous deals, and it seems like they have modified their Metro Delivery.
    Saw that their previous deals had (even a trampoline!):

      Pretty poor from OP. 3130 (Blackburn) is considered "Metro" but somewhere like 3182 (St. Kilda) is not? One is 25km from the CBD and the other is 5km! I'll let you figure out which one is which. Negging based on misleading delivery.

  Most of the feedback is on the FREE METRO DELIVERY AREA breakdown. Unfortunately it's not an easy task to breakdown metro area.

  First, please note that not many competitors offer free shipping at all. We took the business decision to offer free delivery in some specific postcodes and we made it clear on the website homepage which postcodes are eligible as well as on the ad on OzBargain. In that sense, we feel that we have explained our policies quite clearly. More than happy to answer your inquiries, if any, simply call us on 1300 827 171.

  Beyond the delivery cost for postcode out of 2000-2234 | 3000-3130 | 4000-4078, we believe that the important point is that we offer a 50% off discount on 2x aluminium sunloungers for less that $110 when most of our competitors, for the same price, would sell only 1 sun lounger or even less.

  Hi Iplau.

  That's an excellent question! Unfortunately our transporters doesn't apply free rate to us even if we offer free delivery in some metro postcodes to our customers :-). Also, some of our transport costs increased more than expected over the last few months, so we had to make a tough business decision to reduce some free delivery area.

  However please note that for our free delivery metro area 2000-2234 | 3000-3130 | 4000-4078 we deliver for free regardless of the size of the item, even for a 3 Cubic Meter Lounge or for 10 CBM which I believe is somewhat quite unique in Australia. Indeed, I don't know many company based in Sydney delivering a bulky Outdoor lounge To Melbourne Metro for FREE while maintaining a very competitive product price. In that sense we clearly believe that we are making a difference vs the market, and it's probably one of the reasons why our client enjoy the ride with Alice's Garden and continue to order with us :-)
