so i just found out about the 2 free games promotion. is the promotion available for this purchase? looking like thats a no. getting mine delivered today. guess ill find out soon enough.
I got mine delivered today but haven't opened the box. Would it be in there? PB technologies (aka future gear) is listed as an official retailer for EVGA so I would assume they would have the codes if not.
mine arrived today and the codes werent in the box. if futuregear is listed as an official retailer for EVGA they either are keeping the codes for themselves or we need to msg them. i msged them about it. no reply yet. if they dont get back to me im gonna call EVGA. always the possibility they simply werent given codes though. will need to contact EVGA to confirm i guess.
Let us know if you get a response.
@Autonomic: Okay i finally figure it out.. just follow instructions here : https://au.evga.com/articles/01295/get-up-to-two-games/defau… i just uploaded my paypal invoice and its gone through. awaiting my codes :)
@SardineHead: to upload ebay invoice go here https://www.evga.com/support/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=59737
wonder how many will miss out on their free games..
@SardineHead: Yeah I remember the hassel getting codes from EVGA in the past. They don't make it easy or obvious at all.
I guess this is what you get when codes were lost and or resold when they were shipped in the boxes in the past.. now you have to pass a tourture test of linguistics and provide a DNA sample of personal information.
Still wait for my card. No tracking update since Aust post 'interviened' … Super frustrated.
@Elijha: the lady i talked to on the phone from auspost said she decided not to intervene and update the shipping details after being missorted because it would cause further delays. guessing the person you talked to did the opposite?
@SardineHead: to get GRIP on steam for free - https://au.evga.com/articles/01293/evga-grip-promotion/ - in total thats around $210 worth of free games.
@SardineHead: Did you end up getting Anthem & BFV codes? Thanks for the link btw.
@Autonomic: takes up to 5 business days for someone at EVGA to manually review it. i read it can take as little as 2 though.
@SardineHead: Did futuregear tell you to go this route? It reads like those instructions are for the official EVGA eBay store invoices.
@Autonomic: they gave me the link.
@SardineHead: OK. So finally got my 2080ti today. I have now got the serial and applied for anthem and Battlefield V .. hopefully I get them for the weekend?
@Elijha: after 4 days mine still says "Waiting for Approval - Allow 5 Business days."
@SardineHead: yeah I was just hoping it was an "up to" and that those before might prove that buy receiving it earlier. I wonder what it takes over the 5 days are they verifying the receipt details?
@Elijha: no idea.. should take 2 days max.. maybe its like one guy doing it by himself lol
@SardineHead: Any luck on getting codes?
@Autonomic: Thank you for your patience regarding the promotional game code request. Since you are located in Australia, our Taiwan offices will be the office which reviews your request. Those offices have been closed in observance of the Lunar New Year but will be re-opening today 2/11/2019 for normal business operations. It may take them another few days to review the request but once it has been reviewed you should receive an automated e-mail with further information. We apologize for any inconvenience and please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

@SardineHead: we are SOL:
well I received this
"
EVGA has reviewed your “Buy EVGA GeForce RTX, Get Up To Two Games*” Game Code request and has unfortunately declined your request at this time. It was declined for one of the following reasons:
Description of Decline :
This promotion is closed.
If you wish to dispute this, please reply directly to this email. If you have an updated invoice, please attach it to your email.

Your Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the mail.
Unfortunately this promotion is closed and it was limited to quantities on-hand and we do not have any more codes to give. All game code request has been arranged in chronological order. I apologize for any inconvenience and this is a promotion that Nvidia was running and we do not have any control over this. Thanks."
So I doubt it, and I've browsed the same page on multiple web browsers and devices.
which means EVGA is still advertising the promotion knowing they can't fulfill any orders.
@SardineHead: just got my codes.
@SardineHead: How did you manage to get them? After declining me they asked for my invoice and s/N (again). No response since then. Even tried calling and no one picka up.
@Autonomic: this is what i uploaded (details are hidden in this one) - https://i.imgur.com/miDWfew.jpg
need the ebay invoice + serial sticker on your gpu
@SardineHead: I was declined also (14th Feb).. but I was away and not able to get a photo until now. Such a pain … I hope they still accept my updated invoice at this time. In the registration site I was not able to delete and reupload the invoice the site error on the delete link - did you have this issue? I eneded up just sending the PDF by email .. didn't compress the image much so they are getting a 9MB PDF lol.
… interestingly I was approved for the Grid racer after being rejected for these games. shrug
@Elijha: OK. Just got an approval email… can't wait to see the raytracing.
@SardineHead: Mine was in Sydney on the 24th, moved to transit on the 30th. Still not here yet (SA). Hope it didn't also get mis-sorted.
