Should be compatible with dual is on panny cameras that support it.

Great "jack of all trades lens" if you don't mind something a tad bigger.

    • Yeah, on a Panny body like the G85, this would be be better. Not sure how the AF performs on an Olympus body. Still the price is decent.

      • I've used this on several Olympus cameras and it works well. Just need to remember to turn off the IS (image stabilisation) for the camera if using the Power OIS. If both are left on they compete against each other and you can get some not so good pictures.

I think this was fixed on later models which have a menu item called "Lens Priority IS" or something like that. I remember when the E-M5 came out with it's full-time sensor stabilisation you could watch the two IS systems fighting each other when you had a Panasonic OIS lens attached.

          • @Luckypenguin: I vaguely remember that the Lens IS Priority does not work with Power OIS (physical switch), only OIS so not sure if there would be an issue with this particular lens with body stabilisation on. Interesting to find out.

I don’t think my OMD EM1 mark i has that feature (I can’t find the charger to test it).

Do love that they are interchangeable as I am a fan of some of the Panasonic lens.
