I have been seeing ads for Shady Rays sunglasses on Facebook. Nice looking glasses and reasonably priced. I have never heard of them so just wondering if any of you have bought from them before? Are they any good?

I'm normally a skeptic when it comes to ordering items based on a Facebook post, but since these were available on Amazon I decided to give them a try.
Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! I have a pair of Oakley sunglasses that are the same style and I actually find myself preferring the Shady Rays over them. The Shady Rays are polarized, which is a huge plus and are less than half the cost of the Oakleys. I haven't read anywhere about anybody using their "free replacement if lost or broken" policy, but that is another selling point that drew me to them. Will cross that bridge if the time ever comes…. Overall I would definitely recommend these to anyone in need of a nice pair of shades.I've just lost my first pair of shady rays :( For the price I've been really happy with them. Bought them around this time last year.
Currently going through the "lost or broken" replacement; it was surprisingly easy. The replacement pair is free (full price of the original pair was USD$65) and they just charge for the postage (USD$17.89). I did get suckered in for an offer of 40% off similar Shady Rays so bought an additional couple of pairs and cases. Now I've just gotta wait out the 2 weeks delivery.

Hmm. Unless it's the official facebook page of that brand, you might want to check the reviews closely to have a feel of the seller's authenticity.
Posting my review here in case anyone is considering buying a pair:
The plastic feels cheap but my biggest gripe is that the lens is quite lousy - it reflects internally so I am constantly looking at the reflection of my own eyes. It actually reduce visibility. Never encountered this with my Raybans.
In complete honesty it feels no different from a pair you can pick up from any night market. Company probably doing well from very smart marketing tactics.
I have two pairs. They are ok quality until something happened with the lenses and they started to delaminate around the edges. I have never had that problem before though they kindly sent me a replacement free of charge.

Almost every ad for a new brand/product on Facebook (or other social media to be honest) has been by people wanting to make a quick buck by importing low cost Chinese products, re-branding them and making them seem 'hip' by advertising on social media, and selling for incredible mark-ups.
Copy the ad into a google search for AliExpress and see how many results you get.
