Hi all, my internet (ADSL) is out for 2 weeks until they get a technician in to find the issue (yes it is a long time but not much I can do). I would usually use around 300gb in a month so I am looking for the cheapest option to get me going again. I would say I would probably be a bit on the conservative side during this period but my wife still wants to stream netflix and my son PSN. Any suggestions?

Got a neighbor with Telstra Air?
If dont already have an active telstra SIM, you can use Air on a basic Prepaid SIM activated account.
Hook into that each day, you must login every 24 hours.
I was even able to do this into my wired network with network sharing on a laptop!
You only get SD netflix, but cheap as you'll find.+1 I did this. Bought $30 sim for $10, signed up to Long Life plan. As long as you are in credit you can use any Telstra Air hotspot.
Badaboom! Free internet for months for just $10.

Best you'll get bandwidth wise without a plan. Should work hotspotted with a phone or tethered to a pc if you don't have a modem.
Maybe just buy a book
Buy a few of these $4.90 Kogan Sims and hotspot.

7/11's and auspost stock ovo sims, I think you just choose a data option when you activate. Getting 80/40 at nights is good too.
Ovo?
