Sooner or later, you have to do laundry. I spotted these clothes pegs on clearance at Bunnings (Belconnen ACT, but may be elsewhere too) for two cents a peg. Decent plastic, metal spring.

Maybe they don't want a lawsuit due to some imbecile choking on the pegs.
These pegs ROCK! - (Strangely) - had some for years! Been wondering where they came from!!
(no I'm not drunk)Good thing me and the wife like a bit of pegging!
Anyone have the item code?
Or post the receipt?I am in need of pegs for me clothes!
Just peg at him already!
I will post the item number this evening when I get home.
My wife has been wanting to peg me for ages so this is a great deal
Switched to wooden pegs a while ago, every time we have a heatwave (like the one coming this week) plastic pegs turn as brittle as rice crackers.
Switched to stainless steel ones. I found that the old wooden ones left marks and stains on light colour led clothes.
Dont think I’ve ever seen stainless steel pegs before! Where did you find them?
Agree with ssquid though about plastic pegs. I don’t think we use the clothes line that much (work clothes on hangers inside and often get lazy and use the dryer for socks and undies) yet our plastic pegs seem to go very brittle within 12-24 months.
Check out my comment below regarding the Reva pegs!
The Pincinox stainless steel pegs are not ozbargain material but are definitely a buy it for life item. I got them off ebay using codes.
http://stainlesssteelpegs.com.au@Taita: Cheers. Quick google shows them on Groupon for 80 pieces ($14) or 160 Pieces ($22) + postage - not too bad really!
@sarahbrisbane: Oh wow that's cheap! I can't find it on Groupon. Can you please share the link?
Switched to stainless steel ones. Fingers all now have 3rd degree burns
I have been using the Pincinox stainless steel pegs for quite a while now in Sydney. Haven't burned my fingers yet.
I would highly recommend the Reva-branded clothes pegs, which you can purchase from Woolworths or Big W. They’re made in Australia and despite being plastic, they last for years and years, even in our intense sun. I’ve seen other brands (i.e. the cheap stuff) become brittle quickly but the Reva ones just keep going. I’m pretty sure my parents are still using some from the early 2000s. They will fade in colour, however, over time, like most plastics. The links below are there just to highlight the product for you (i.e. not an example of a bargain price). Given how good they are, they’re worth the premium.

So THIS is the godly brand everyone had growing up!
I don't know why but I'm very satisfied to finally know.
Their 'early batches' were unbranded, as far as individual peg branding went, so I never knew.
I’m glad they’re still in business to be honest, especially given you can get cheap plastic ones made in China for a fraction of the price. Hopefully their quality will ensure a long-lasting Aussie business!
I like the big Reva pegs but not the normal size ones.
The best normal size pegs I've found are actually no-name plastic ones from Kmart and Target. They seem to be teal green right now but in the past they were different primary colours.
Reva Super Hold pegs are so much better than the regular reva.
I must try these! Thanks
The Aldi rip off of Reva pegs are rubbish. The look the same, until they crap out very very quickly in comparison.
FLICK IT, gotta get some pegs
Zero flicks given
Marketing done right
No FLICK = No deal!!
Been on the discount rack for 6 months….
Somebody from Bunnings needs to explain this to me. At approximately 2 cents a peg… why on earth are you not deploying these pegs to fasten the sausage to the onion? I'll wait.
