Hey guys, as Amex is cutting its effective earn rate for its cards, I'm looking to downgrade my Explorer and Edge cards to Essentials and Low Rate Card when annual fees are due.
Just a quick question though, is Amex Offers available on those two cards? Do those two cards tends to get less Amex Offers than other cards?

Not an answer to your question, but,
Unless you are wiping all Amex cards for 18 months to get 'New Account' points offers, then I would not get rid of Explorer.
$395 Annual Fee but $400 of travel credits (Can use for domestic hotels) plus 2 priority pass lounges (Can use for domestic travel)
Im pretty sure, the explorer card only entitles you to enter the two amex lounges in aus

Thank you, but with lowered earn rate, it's just not worth the effort and money.
Low rate amex won't get any of the points offers since it has no points scheme.

Some of the offers are awarded as points instead of a statement credit.

Yep, got pretty much all offers that were posted on Ozbargain on my Essentials card, bar for some targeted ones.
