I just bought myself a Fitbit versa from big w, on sale for $219 at the moment and I'm extremely happy with it.
Looks way nicer than the charge (similar to Apple watch) excellent heart rate monitoring and great to have the better screen with more apps.

My wife got one before Christmas. She had a Charge 2 and Charge prior.
Her main concern has been getting it to sync with her phone and/or laptop. However, a couple of nights ago, she did yet another restart (of many) of the devices and seems to be working now. Also, there was an issue with the snooze function on the alarm going off every 1 minute instead of 10 minutes. This seems to be fixed also, so far.
She's also a bit disappointed that none of the watch face options give her everything she wants at once. Can't remember exactly, but I think she wants heart rate, steps, date and time.
Other than that, she loves it, especially because she can swim with it. Personally, I don't like that the button is on the left side, but I think I'd get used to it.
