I have a version of this case (don't think it's the "upgraded" version).
You don't want to put anything thicker then about 3~3.5cm into this case as it will press the joycon buttons cause it to drain.
For some idea of what it can hold, i sometimes carry up to two sets of spare joycons, usbc cable and 10000mah power bank in mine.
I don't think you'll be able to fit the original grip inside, but you may be able to fit the knockoff grips on eBay (as they are slimmer). As last resort, i guess you can do the mod to remove the curved parts of the grip.
I have this case, it's great, nice and big, can fit a heap of stuff in.
On the grip case I don't have one so I can't tell you sorry.
Ended up getting one. I needed a cheap case as I'm currently using an old compendium made of wetsuit material that I took the pen and notepad out of.

Bring back the play cover from last week op, the sort you that protects while you play.
Skull and candy grip is best playing probable. No other case fits it but skull and candy case which is a pitty if u want to change for fresh feel.

It's a very good case and grip case but very expensive.
