Yeah…that didn't last long. They might fall afoul of the ACCC or state retail regulators with that though - it is an online only offer, therefore they should be specifying the full price of $9.50.
Relevant ACCC link: https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/advertising-selling/adv…
This is a compulsory fee in this case (online is the only option, and so you must pay $1.50), so I think Dendy might be in breach in this instance. They should be advertising a prominent $9.50 ticket price.
So then it's the same price as their Thursday special? Aw.
For those with sinemia, I've managed to book 2 cheap tickets (when dendy had $5 tickets) as 1 transaction. I believe the limit is around $25?
You also don't need to mess around with US PayPal and can directly input the card details when paying
You can probably book three tickets within the limit if you choose a '3D' session. Keep a seat for your popcorn.
Combine with $5 membership offer

not free as previous deal but still good dealThey also offer $18 lounge tickets.
I have never been to Dendy lounge. What is it? Is it worth the price?
It's pretty good.
It's a smaller area with fewer people and really comfortable chairs.
This is at newtownI've only done it for special screening:holy grail, life of Brian and Jimmy Hendrix at Woodstock
I like it. For $18, if there's something you want to see, just jump in.
So, is it just the more comfy seating and smaller room that i get for extra $10 (compared to std ticket) or does it include snacks or anything too?
Comfy seating (big electric recliners), and smaller, less populated room. You get waited on for food/drinks, but that costs extra (there is a service button at every seat that you can press). There should be a menu online. You can order food when you arrive, and they'll bring it to you during the movie (the food is decent, but perhaps a bit overpriced for what it is. It's kind of a nice experience though). Alcohol is served too.
@Banj0: Thanks
Add booking fee of $1.5 per ticket
