      You can use a program (Vine?) to emulate Windows and play as far as I know but others here with a Mac will know more and better.

      I like how in the remakes the password is an inventory item. They couldn't find any other way to deal with the puzzle. Such as just giving you the dialog option, or he automatically says it if you've seen it written on the wall.

        Nah. The game asked you some trivia each time you booted it (such as who Shot JFK?) to make sure you're at least 18. If you answered those questions correct, you are 18, end of story. There's no way a 9 year old could know the answers to those questions. Trust me.

            @OzBrogains: That's what I did. But it was annoying because you have to keep resetting and you won't always get the same questions, so you have to track a number of questions. You do get better each time though.

          Gabriel Knight is one of my all time favourites…i have yet to try the remake though, the series creator Jane Jensen is behind the remake but it wouldn't be the same without the voice of Tim Curry :)

    I remembered I played LSL1 when I was 6 on Windows 95 on a 14" CRT, using floppy discs (hhuehuehuehe). Good times.

      Played it for the first time on the Amiga 500. Parents didn't think I'd pass the questions…. but I'm smarter than the average bear. Didn't play it properly until a few years later. I've collected the LSL (and PQ, SQ, KQ) collections over the years. From cd in the late 90s (and early 00's). And re-buying them digitally first on gog, then on Steam.
