It’s a Braun, doesn’t that say it all?
Bauhn not Braun.
it's not a smart TV
It’s not a smart TV but you can buy a Vodafone Android tv box for $72 and make it smart, that’s a really good android box.
Give the tv a go, 60 day satisfaction guarantee so return if you don’t like it.
or buy a china droid box for $35 delivered.
I have both, the Vodafone one is a magnitude better, well worth $72.
The cheap china boxes are terrible to be honest, and I have put up with them for a while, bought the Vodafone a few weeks before Xmas, wow what a difference. (Plus the cheapies can’t have the tv antenna input to the box for FTA tv)
What app do you use for a browser on your VTV if you want to surf the internet? Chrome and the like are not available (due to the vtv being android tv spec)
Thanks guys for all the inputs.
According to http://www.bauhn.com.au/product-listing/60-ultra-hd-led-lcd-… this might be the same model (ATV60UHD-0918) as last September.
Can anyone that bought one comment on what is was like?
In particular, was it a RGBW panel like the 50" in December?
Can it do 4:4:4 even at 30 Hz?
To answer myself, the ATV60UHD-0918 seems to be RGB - not the awful dithering RGBW of the ATV50UHD-1218. However, as a result it is rated a nearly 2x the annual kWh usage.
My AMD video card claims the ATV60UHD will do RGB or 4:4:4 up to 30 Hz, and 4:2:0 at 60 Hz. Windows thinks the panel is 10-bit, but AMD reports 8-bit.
It's satire
