While shopping for the lumix, I found the price for the twin lens kit was the same price as body only at Ted's, looks to be around $850 at other stores, so thought this might be a good deal!

I would recommend to but this one, or if you have extra budget to buy the g85.. they are lighter and has better features than the low end canon/nikon dslr.. i jumped from a Canon 60D to a Lumix G85 and had never regretted it.. especially knowing that you can take 4K videos on the G85
I would recommend the g7, aince it gets two lenses.. and as a canon user, it would be a sin for me to recommend a nikon.. (i’m a bit biased towards canon)
@tukangbakso: d3500 comes with '18-55mm +70-300mm Lens Kit'. is that not two lenses? i'm leaning towards lumix g7 but that's purely because the body looks nicer than d3500.
The good thing about these things is the size and weight. It's probably a good deal if you want to get your feet wet, I just did a similar thing but went with the Olympus E-M5 II as the features were a little more up by alley (weatherproofing, in-body stabilization, etc), although it cost a little bit more. The G7 is a little chunkier than other mirrorless cameras but still nowhere near a DSLR.
This is a good deal if you’re actually looking for some lenses for MFT.. cause the price of both lenses combined is more expensive than this.. i reckon it’s a pricing error since all the option has the same price.. but if the honour it, then awesome deal
they also have g85body for 1100$ and g85+12-60 for 1100$, is the latter a good price? thinking of upgrading from g5.
G85 is an awesome camera, but i got the bundle for less than that a year ago.. so, i reckon you should wait for a discount some other place?
I thought pricing error too as a couple different cameras had the same price with or without lenses. I called a store and bought it same day so glad I got in!
how does this compare to canon eos 1500d, canon eos 200d, and nikon d3500? don't know anything about cameras but want to get into it.
