Lol. (that was humour, right?)
Nothing funny about the quality of Aldi's goods.
deep exhale
This stuff is the goods. If you're lazy like me you can even use it as sauce if you don't mind smelling like garlic for half a day.
You can get blitz mints from Aldi and continue to enjoy your sauce
Is this the same stuff Nando restaurant uses?
because I can never get it to taste remotely similar to store bought when using these marinades.Doubtful they'd be a true replica of store flavour because that would just drive away business, probably actually beneficial if these don't taste like the store to drive business in
Try not cleaning your kitchen for a few days, and you'll see the authentic Nandos flavour starting to ferment in your food.
Probably takes a bit more than just smearing a marinade over some meat to get the same taste. You would have to use a similar cooking method and char it just right. They might also prepare their chickens with brine to keep them moist during cooking. Another possibility is they don't just use the marinade but instead add other ingredients like salt/pepper/spices to the marinade before preparing it.
The other alternative is that it just isn't what they use but I have no idea just throwing some ideas.
Might have to give these a try. Thanks OP.
I bought it from Coles two days ago for $5.95 :( , but will definitely get more from Aldi
Return them 😊
No, I can't, first I opened the cap, took about 20 grams and I like it. So If they asked and I say because Aldi sale it cheaper what would happen to this bottle if they, arguably, accepted the return? lol. I can do that if it's still unopened though. I am going to get from Aldi some others, hope my ozbargain painful feelings chill with some chili.
Oh my gosh. Buy new one from Aldi, return it to Coles.
If you have access to Costco, a 1L bottle is $9.99 IIRC.
Also proper "sauce" :)
The marinade has more fillers, hence the higher sugar content.
Yeah.. live that. But keep in mind they only have medium.
