had a look and most stores in syd have about 6-15 in stock
gift packs all starting to go on sale to get rid of stock,
funnily enough at one point Jagermeister gift pack (700ml bottle + the freezer thingo) was $5 cheaper than the single bottle.

    $10 and i'll bite

yeah 3 tinnies for $20 is a bit rich.

it's like the yanks paying $20 for 3 cans of fat yak or James Squire.

      • Your tongue left home… when?

        • it stays home I brew my own.

Sierra Nevada brews is just another Amarillo hop driven beer. Not dissimilar to JS Hop Thief.
SN is a main stream "craft beer" just like JS, low in bitterness, mostly fruity hops flavour. Nothing special, I make the stuff at ~$1/lt not sure how they can justify ~$20/lt. Maybe because of the lack of bitterness, you can only stomach 3 cans in a session?

TLDR: Another bog standard American Pale Ale.

            @[Deactivated]: Dat Hop Hunter tho

Also I think this is THE standard American Pale Ale. It's like 30 years old now or something from memory.

@Nalar: yeah it was spreading up the west coast in the 90's and then headed east. It was exciting stuff back then (for an Aussie), then I visit Belgium…..

I'm not bagging the beer, just the price.

    If it was 6 cans, it'd be a bargain…

  • Pretty good considering the $20 beer glass

Don't be fooled by the rrp of the glasses, I got a 6 pack of them from peters of Kensington for like $40.

They are however a nice glass and it's like $5 for it in this pack. Only problem is they will break if you look at them the wrong way. Already lost 2 to falling over in the sink.

      • I also know from experience how thin the glass is, but great to drink out of

        • I hate ddrinking out of thin glass, probably because I'm subconsciously afraid it'll break.

beer, wine, bubbles, scotch…the glass has to be thick like me. Hoegaarden make a nice glass. Peroni too.

      • Me also, while great to drink out of these glasses are incredibly fragile.

Got this last year with the 330 bottle version. Glass is super nice. Beer is ok: not as nice as from tap, but pretty good. Tin seems to travel much better

    • Can confirm. Can travels well and allows for 13.6% extra nectar. The glass is also a fine addition to the cabinet.
