Watch for price jacking as they been confirmed to do it before
Worth trying price beat (by $1/tyre) at Kmart (only on the brands they both sell)
What competitor offers will we beat?
We sell leading tyre brands at low prices, every day. However, if one of our competitors has quoted a better price on an identical tyre, we’ll beat it. We’ll beat any offers including, but not limited to, the following:
- Buy 3 tyres, and get the 4th free
- Cashback offers
KMart usually beat the price by $5 a tyre. Also KMART supply fresh built tyres unlike a lot of other places you give you 3-4 year old tyres
only beat by $1 for me, but when I rocked up they didn't have the Kumho I had ordered, so they fitted Pirelli at no extra cost :)
Careful, I got Kmart to price beat bobjane $5 a tyre, but they jacked up wheel alignment to the value I saved per tyre. Only realised this after when a friend got their tyres aligned at the same place for $5 less per wheel.
These guys sound good. Any one use them?
Yea I bought 2 tyres from them before, I had them sent to my work place, arrive next day lol, cheapest I found online too
They can be considered cheap, but not cheapest coz most tyre stores do not show price online or not have online store.
Compared prices for a set of Bridgestone Duelers A/T 2657016 and found tyresales.com.au and Bob Jane T-marts were still $128 cheaper.

20% off only applies to tyres, not on delivery and fitting. With Tyresales, the discount applies to the whole service. YMMV depending on the chosen tyres.
Just bought some Pilot Sport 4s, 215/45/17, $682 fitted and 4 wheel alignment. Not bad price.
Should be cheaper. Jax tyres is $169ea fitted, then you get $100 off for buying 4 which comes to $576. Add on $60-70 for a 4 wheel alignment.
I found Jax prices for Michelin are higher than most as well so it should be even cheaper if you call other shops.
Thanks for the heads up. Works out slightly cheaper with Jax.
Call around. Even Bob Jane are usually cheaper than Jax for me and they aren't that cheap either.

Great prices on motorcycle tyres… Shame that I just replaced mine recently
wish they sold race tires :/
They do.
They have some Michelin track (non road legal) tyres
Not for bikes, they don't…
@educalifa: They have these:

I think those are race tyres?

At 20% off they work out pretty cheap
Contemplating getting a set of Winruns/Kinforest for the Outlander. Unsure on the cheap Chinese rubbers for the family car though.
Should be fine for everyday driving.
Unless you drive in the snow or very poor weather conditions the stability/traction/abs systems will be able to compensate for the slightly worse tyre compound/design.
Just leave the outlander on AWD mode too.
Thanks for advice edrift
It's not the everyday driving that's the issue. It's the sudden downpours of rain, the greasy road conditions of first rains after a dry spell, the unpredictability of the driver beside or in front of you.
That's when you'll notice the difference. But by then, it's well… you know!
Can recommend the Winrun R330. They're surprisingly good for such a cheap tyre.
Haven't had any issues with traction, in both dry or wet conditions.
They can be a little noisy on the freeway though.
That's the only negative I've read about em.
For half the price of named tyres I reckon I'll grab em
Turn the volume up on stereo should deal with the noise
Dang, some good prices but it's going to be a month before I have tyre money.
they have afterpay
Thanks, I had noticed that but my general rule is I have to have the money in my wallet or I don't spend it (with the exception of buying a house)
It would have to be 50% discount or more for me to contemplate afterpay, but if the discount was that good I would already have enough.
My concern is the production date of the tires. Their website says 1-4 years old tires and it hard to find out the exact production date on the tires I want to buy.
Looking at Hankook OPTIMO K415 225/45R17 91V for our shopping trolley. I missed bobjane buy 3 get 1 free deal last Oct, sigh….
Probably an urban legend, but some people have been saying that the Hankook tyres in buy 3 get 1 free are from Chinese production and not as good as the Korean made versions. Never seen evidence of this other than internet rumors though.
Recently bought tyres from tyroola. They have a fitment guarantee which does not guarantee against incorrect tyre sizes, and you can’t contact them directly to correct the problem before dispatch. They advertise free shipping To all metro areas, but charge shipping if the items are not near your post code. There are a lot of clauses to their advertisements.
In addition, they advertise you’ll receive a 30 dollar Ola voucher with your purchase. I have never received the voucher after purchase.
Ordered at 11.45am, got them at 15.30pm, very fast, pretty new age tyres( w28 year 2018)
I love these guys.
I paid $200 for a pair of 1 day old 20" Pzeros worth $500 each from a guy that had the incorrect tyres supplied by this mob and fitted to his Aston Martin that they wouldn't accept back.
Safe to say he won't be using them again! ;)
Wow. That’s superb.
Can you purchase a pair and a pair for staggered set ups?
I’m currently away and trying to recall what one of my car runs!
Dang it!
