Not as good as this previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/355702 but might be useful for someone who is in the market for these!

The pair of 1200kg stands for 23 bucks is a better deal IMO

    • Yes it is an awesome deal for smaller cars.
I will update the deal to feature both!
      Many thanks.

I've used those 1200kg ones before. I really don't like them, there's too much sideways movement in them. When the car is up you can move it back and forth several centimeters just from the flex in the stands. I'd spend the extra on the 3000kg ones.

Totally agree, don't buy cheap stands because they're "good enough"

Picked up the 3000kg stands yesterday and used them today. Definitely prefer them over the ratchet style. I don't know if pins are any safer, but they feel safer to me.

I didn't look at the catalogue, so the two ramps for $133.98 might have suited my needs more.

    • In all honesty my freind has the ramps and i found them much easier and practical if one is willing to pay the price differnce.
      Thank you for the contrubution.

      • I went back and bought the ramps. Both my cars are too low for the ramps. Haha. I'd have to remove the front bumper. I didn't think about that…

  • Are the 1200KG ideal for a Camry? If you're just using it to jack up one wheel, it'd be 1200kg support for the raised wheel and the rest of the weight would be on its own wheels right? Thanks

    • 1200kg is pretty weak for Camry

    • +1

In the scenario you're describing then yes it will as a lot of the weight will still be on the ground.

      • Thanks, should be good enough to change brake pads etc

  • I might have to grab a couple because the two I bought ten years ago are holding up the kitchen sink.
    F$#*ing mcdonald jones homes!
