Brisbane library doesn’t have this magazine. Shame because it’s so good, yet so expensive in Australia.
tried to make an account with them but i need a barcode or library card number :(
You need a library card
How do I get a libraries NI login? My RBDigital account doesn't allow me to access this mag.
not for this specific magazine
I still have like 30 odd PS1 demo CDs and about the same amount of PS2 ones.
As a poor kid in the '00s, with no internet or no ability to buy a game every other day, getting a PlayStation magazine subscription as a birthday present was the (profanity) best. A good read of news and reviews on new and upcoming games, and a stack of new games I would get to play every month. OutRun is one of my all time favorite games / series, and it can all be traced back to the demo of OutRun 2006 on PS2.
I'm aware the internet being how you get games news and demos / full games just makes more sense and was the logical progression for this stuff, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't supremely disappointed the day they stopped putting in demo discs (around 2007 or so I believe, though it could be later, but I doubt that).
Love this sort of shit.
I loved discs that came with computer magazines eg PC Authority, NetGuide, PC Powerplay CDs etc. Always a few good programs and games worth trying out.
Those were the days…
Yep, definitely missed those days.
No need to provide a real email or details fyi. The download is provided as the last step of checkout
I wish I still had my ZX Spectrum! I taught myself to code in BASIC using printed programs out of magazines. Even had most of the upgrades, micro drive, kempston joystick, upgraded to 128K - what a machine! Awesome trip down memory lane - thanks OP!
thank you very much!
