Instax WIDE Film (Colour + White Border) - $1.27 Per Shot - 100pc $127 @ DWI Digital Cameras on eBay

30

Australian retail prices of film in general and Instax in particular are ridiculous. I only buy retail when I have planned poorly and have run out and need some urgently to tide me over.

All other times I order from China for at least half the price.

My favourite seller for regular instax wide film is currently dwi-digital-cameras because they have been reliable so far and ship fast (bought from them several times). They apparently have a website but I don't see these deals on there.

Updated with GST:

100 for $127 - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW-FUJIFILM-FUJI-INSTAX-W…

100 for $131 - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fujifilm-instax-Wide-film-Photo-…

200 for $231 - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EXPRESS-SHIP-FUJI-FUJIFILM-INSTA…

300 for $341 - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EXPRESS-SHIP-FUJI-FUJIFILM-INSTA…

Plus ebay coupons sometimes work with them so check for any current ones before ordering.

  • Can get them lower price in smaller quantities.

    This one is $1.09 each.

It’s good to point out that they’re cheaper than in Aus, but you can get them on eBay at the $1 price point all the time.

No that is Instax Mini film - it is smaller and cheaper and for Instax Mini cameras and printers.

Instax Wide is the larger format - twice the size of mini - for Instax Wide cameras (no printers yet afaik).

Wide is the largest fuji currently make.

And it is the largest format of any brand of instant film I have seen available at around $1 a photo - (but I would LOVE to be corrected on that with a link to a larger film at that price).

      • I stand corrected. However, my original thought remains: if the links you have posted are the everyday price for that seller, why is this a bargain?

        • well I'm new to the site, maybe it doesn't count as a bargain? I thought that it did because of australian retail everyday pricing being 50% or more higher.

Terrible prices! Bought 200 plus 200 free frame stickers the other day for my daughter for $140.90 utilising my eBay gift cards bought at 10% off and a 10% eBay code.

    • Um that's a very strange way to comment. Provide a link to the ebay listing so others can benefit - and the code/gift card discount combination can work on these listings as well. From my calcs, your listing would have been around $174 - would have been better if you just stated that price.

    • are you sure it wasn't Instax Mini film?

  • 10c at Harvey Norman photo print

Yes if you are just looking for a printed photo, and can wait, $1 is very expensive for the size.

And if you need a photo print immediately, there are printers and their supplies that can work out to be less than $1 too.

I enjoy using this film in instant cameras as a pure form photography, with no editing or processing.

GST will be payable on top of these prices of between $11 - $30.

    • oh right i forgot the new gst, i'll add it, thanks.
