If only all physics equations were that simple. This app will never keep up with any mathematics or science lectures.

    • Are there any apps that do it better? Not being snarky, just if there are, I'd love to know about them (especially if free). But it does seem like a limitation of the device more so than the app.

Also I'm not sure what that person is doing learning physics equations when they haven't even mastered their ABCs yet.

Pen and paper, hand and brain. Take for example, these well-known and basic equations from electrostatics. You try copying them neatly with an app such that they remain legible afterwards. And what about that illustration? How are you going to handle that along with the equations on an electronic device in a lecture?

Having said that, I did see a pure mathematics student who typed his notes into his laptop with LaTeX during lectures. I don't know how he managed to keep up with the flow of the lectures, how accurate were his notes, or how much subject material he actually understood.

I use Microsoft one note on a surface pro with a pen during lectures,
I can draw and write on an infinite canvas, on or around the power point slides that I have downloaded and 'printed' to one note. I record the audio at the same time, and when I play it back, touching a note or picture shifts the audio to what was recorded when that note was made. (can also record video if preferred)
One of my favourite features is that it recognises your handwriting, and makes it searchable along with any typed notes or words in any images you attach. Makes revision much easier.

One note was so easy and useful for me, that it disguised my failing memory even from myself.

        • Just adding that One note is free, and that they have pen support for devices like galaxy notes. I haven't really used one note on Android for creating notes since my galaxy note 1st version, but back then inking worked well, but hand writing was not recognised or searchable. (this may have changed in the last 8 years, not sure)

How do you recreate the notes in order to revise them?

          it disguised my failing memory

How are you learning anything if it's disguising memory loss?

  • good to know SB can be short for Super Brain!

  • Thanks @chibot!
