  They inflate (pun intended) original price to give a (still expensive) discounted price.

  Michelin PS4 235/40/18:
  - Ozzy Tyres $295 ($492 original price, yeah right!)
  - Tempe Tyres: $220

  FWIW I paid $188 each for mine at Bob Jane, price matched from Tempe at the time.

  Ha what a joke, 225/45/r17 Michilin Pilot Sport 4 normally $335, 40% off makes it $201. Jax tyres normal price $199.
