    Because some of us want to throw off the chained shackles of Apple's proprietary walled garden and their one size fits all, father knows best partiarchal system. ;-) I use iTunes too.

        I have an Iphone 5 bought for $50, did not want to install iTunes, just needed to get some music in, this is less invasive and simpler.

  I’d like to know if it works with an existing iTunes backup. Would be great if it does as I’m trying to restore from an old SE backup on 10.3 to an iPhone 5 and the 5 always gets stuck on reboot.
