The issue with this deal for me is how expensive the controller will be. Also limited stock availability in my local area.
I have the parrot 1, picked up the sky controller on eBay for $50 delivered (second hand) with two batteries. It is compatible with the Parrot 2.

2km means bvlos. 600m is more like the max distance you could fly and still maintain casa rules. Don't fly 2k away.

Legit helped me get over the price matching convo. Just a quick yup we just did it for another guy, good deal. They looked swamped from Boxing Day anyway. Double and a half pay, doubt they cared it was so cheap haha.
oh noooo i just picked up the DJI Tello Boost pack for $150 ish from Ebay… thinking it was a good deal, now im thinking for an extra $50 i could have got this, which i feel is a much better drone.

I decided to take the risk
Asked for my Ebay purchase to be cancelled (DJI Tello)
Purchased the Drone from Mwave - Delivered
At worst they cancel my MWave order due to pricing error and my Tello is also cancelled.
Or worse still
They dont cancel my Tello order - in which case i have a DJI Tello Boost pack for sale for $150 on Gumtree next week.
This may be a smart move or a very expensive mistake

Seems the combo at jb https://www.jbhifi.com.au/drones-robotics/all-drones/parrot/… is a cheaper option than buying this and a controller elsewhere. $579 with controller is barely more than officeworks normal price without controller.
This seems a great deal as a stand alone, but not if you have to get the controller elsewhere.
I've got 2 controllers as I have the parrot disco x2 so this will come in nicely.
In regards to my comment before, The guy at Officeworks said this listing could be for a refurbished model as he pointed out the warranty on this is 12 months, and with the Officeworks listing it's like 2-3 years. Plus on Mwave there's an identical model drone for the same price as Officeworks.
Best bet now is maybe just try get it on mwave and see what happens?
same thing happened on me, I went to glebe officeworks, won't sell me at price beat until tomorrow. Ordered mwave instead, but they cancelled my order today.

Took it out for a fly and very pleased to say it come home with me after 25 min flight around the park. I had a cheap Chinese import drone 2 years ago that flew back to china never to be seen again after first take off.
They are programmed to fly back to China

Anyone get orders cancelled? mine is still in PROCESSING - i have been advised when i called in that they are waiting on stock to arrive early next week, so i hope they dont cancel on me.
If they do, ill buy one of the others listed, however i dont want them to drag the order on for ages then cancel, i would prefer to know up front.
