Only marginally for a couple of episodes in season 1 because the source is terrible on both accounts. But for the rest, the Blu-ray is the better option.
where are you getting this info? i just tried to google it and from what i saw the fan remaster was still better looking in 1-4 (except for haloing, so i'd say in the end it does lose), but then looked better for other episodes.

You said it yourself. The bad episodes are fixed on the Blu-ray. The rest of the episodes are pretty much the same after that.
It's totally fine if you want half the episodes from the fan remaster and half from the Blu-ray if you think that's the way to ultimate quality. But if you want one collection, then the legit Blu-ray is the way to go.

Agreed. One of the best series of all time. Give Attack on Titan a go or even Death Note. Both very good and very memorable.
But very different in tone to a family action adventure series.
In its time? I rewatched it recently on the Blu-ray and it definitely still holds up. I personally think it's better than Legend of Korra.
I think they just worded that odd, don't think they meant to say it is bad now.
Also its OBJECTIVELY better than korra, not just your opinion.
Not that I disagree with your opinion that ATLA is better than Korra, but how can a series be objectively better than another one? Surely, at least the story/narrative always has some level of subjectivity.
I could say that Korra helps normalise same sex relationships while ATLA does not and therefore the narrative is objectively better because it directly benifits society. How much I value that as a narrative element is clearly subjective.
@wishcresp: Yeah i know obviously you cant technically have something like this be objective. But in this case you ARE wrong if you think korra is better OVERALL and thats fact (yes i know it can't be, but it still is).
@thearbiter117: It is not a fact that people who think Korra is better are wrong, it is our opinion that they are wrong. Deciding which elements determine if a series is better overall is subjective. How you determine if an element is better in a series than another is subjective. The majority of us likely think that ATLA is better but there will always be a portion in favour of the other, we can't just dismiss them entirely.
One of my favourite shows of all time along with GOT and Handmaids Tale.
All very different genres.
Definitely one of Nickelodeon's best shows.
