They really need to start doing click and collect. $12 shipping for under $70 spend :/

    • +1

      Yep. Shipping kills the deal!

    • Just get a fancy new teapot + 3 teas easy

      • +1

And their returns policy is excellent. No hassles to return said teapots.

  • Anyone want to refer me?

    • Still want one?

      • Apparently it's just a "thankyou" email LOL

        • Never mind then! Hahaha

          • @vifi: Actually just got told after order

And to say thanks, we’ll reward you with $10 off your next order when you spend $80.

Still not great, but still better than nothing I guess. I bet it doesn't stack though.

  • +8

Does anyone know if this is in-store also?

  • Shipping kills it unfortunately

  • +1

Didn’t need it, bought it anyway. It will be drunk soon enough… easy to get over the $70 min spend to get free freight.

    Thanks OP

    • It's non-alcoholic

  • +2

Doesn't stack on items that are already on sale… :(

the T2 Jug-a-lot, RRP$34, on sale for $25.50. In cart shows $20.40 which is 40% off the $34.

    ONLINE ONLY.
I called a store to confirm.

  • +5

Got an email confirming cash rewards on my purchase. Don't forget CR!

  • +5

Amazed because recently a T2 staff member said they value their product and don't discount it…! (yeah right)

    • +4

They used to do this like 4 years ago until they sold the company to the UK. They're certainly not as elitist as they would otherwise try and make you believe.

      • +1

        Unilever

    • T2 goes on sale (usually at 10% to 20%) every few months as part of VIP nights or shopping events… 40% is rare and I think this is the first time I have seen 40%.

  • Any good non-oriental teas like chai or english breakfast varieties to recommend?

    • I like their organic chai. It’s more spicier than their normal chai, and also doesn’t have added flavours

  • +1

    Doesn't stack with sale items

  • -1

Suggest updating post to specify it replaces the discount on already-on-sale items, e.g. item is 25% off now, you apply code, you get 40% off instead.

  • What flavours do people actually buy? I've tried a few and some flavours taste pretty similar to Twinings, others are simply not as good. Plus Twinings is much cheaper.

    • +3

Blue Mountain will change your life. Also French earl grey and Georgeous Geisha (green) are good.

    • +2

The only one I remember the name of is 'buddhas tears' but any jasmine green tea might be similar. Probably an easy one to drink without a strainer etc, if you still want loose leaf.

    • +2

I'm big on their Gunpowder green, Sleep tight and berry ones for iced tea.

  • +2

Amazed by the amount of artificial flavors in them

  • +1

Their ombre flask comes down to 60% off ($18) with the code.

Sitting here wondering how I can justify paying for $70 worth of tea and flask and the teapots are out of stock. $16 each is a bit of a rip…

  • +1

40% discount is definitely a great deal! But like others mentioned, the freight costs is really holding me back :(

  • bought a jug and several selections of tea. Partner and I are looking forward to trying these out since we always buy them as gifts for others! Good overall deal, and I think the 40% worked on some sale items too.

  • Thanks OP wife had a gift card to use so this was perfect timing :)

Historically, has T2 ever done 40% off (or higher before? Either in store or online.
Im thinking that much tea would take me a long time to drink, but I guess if I say buy 10 packs of 25 teabags, then get a couple of bags from each packet, vacuum seal the rest.. Should last couple of years vacuum sealed ??
I have plenty of 'zipvac' bags to vacuum seal with. Just place in bag then use pump to suck air out.
If it's something that comes up regularly at 40% off or 50% off, and maybe if high percentage off sales come up in store, then I will wait till later to make my purchases.
