Arctis 7 2019 Edition is available for $170.85 delivered with Prime.

I'm holding out for a Boxing Day sale on them!

      Cheers, will add OP.
I got the Arctis 7 during the Black Friday sale. Love it so far.

      • Also got the arctis 7. Disappointed in the audio quality in comparison to my Logitech UE 6000 when in USB/aux mode and wireless mode. Equalizer makes an improvement but lacks rich bass for movies and music.

I'd suggest the best price came and went with Black Friday, where they were available for $150 before cashback.

      • Yep, kicking myself that I didn't get one then.
I was too on the fence because my Logitech G930 still works fine.

The Arctis 5 price isn't particularly great, but the Arctis 7 is going for $171 in white and black, taking it to around $155 after cashback.

  • Do these work well with the PS4?

  • reckon jb hifi will price match the arctis 7?

~edit the review paints a mediocre picture though. Any owner(s) willing to provide some reviews?

    • I find it very comfortable and sounds great. Clear mic. I use it exclusively on PC, might not work as well on Xbox, PS4 or Switch.
I heard it has issues with Xbox mostly.

I own the Arctis 5 (Counts for Arctis 3 also)

      Cons
      1. Ski-Band loses its snap (its elastic) and thus it may uncomfortably loose for smaller heads.
      2. The Mic isnt quite loud enough, avoid it if you're not well spoken or speak quietly (for gaming-communication)
      3. They're cloth earcups, so.. keep clean else they will gunk up real quick.
      4. The bass is a little low.

      Pros
      1. Doesn't look like 'gamer gear' you can wear them in public without looking like you have a mental disability.
      2. Incredibly light weight which makes them both incredibly comfortable and a little weak, you want to place them down softly.
      3. Excellent proprietary software for equalizer settings and a dynamic range compression setting (excellent for FPS games, louder footsteps, quieter gunfire/explosions)
      4. Does a very good job at blocking out real world sounds.

In my opinion they are an excellent set of headphones.
If you're intent on the Wireless ones (which are undoubtedly heavier) the ski-band will deteriorate quicker, they wont be as light weight and cant be used wirelessly for listening to media on your smartphone. (i believe the arctis 7 has the ability to be wired though, i could be wrong)

      • Excellent proprietary software for equalizer settings

This part no longer applies to the 2019 Arctis 3.

Steelseries software doesnt support the new Arctis 3?

      • I own the Arctis 5 (Counts for Arctis 3 also)

Then it applies to the Arctis 7 as well really.

      • (i believe the arctis 7 has the ability to be wired though, i could be wrong)

You are correct. It comes with a cable to connect via 3.5mm jack.

    • guess its a nah for now. limited $, hoping something better (value for money) comes along during Boxing day sales.
