[NSW] Free On-street Parking this Christmas (Parramatta)

Free street parking in Parramatta CBD is back again for 2018, remember that time limits still apply!

Free on-street parking will be offered in the CBD in Parramatta over the Christmas period as a gift from the Lord Mayor and Councillors.

City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Andrew Wilson said he was very happy to be able to offer this gift to anyone visiting, shopping or working in Parramatta from Sunday, 23 to Wednesday, 26 December.

"The festive season is a busy one for everyone and we want to ease some of the stress by making it easier for people to do their last minute Christmas shopping and participate in festive activities.

"Parramatta's CBD comes to life at Christmas with great shopping ranging from the major retailers, through to on street speciality shopping, not to mention our vibrant cafes, restaurants and festive activities. This is also an opportunity for residents to support our fine local businesses and 'buy local' this Christmas," said Lord Mayor Cr Andrew Wilson.

The on-street parking meters will have signage on them during the free parking period from Sunday, 23 December to Wednesday, 26 December and time limits will still apply.
